Readiness to exceed expectations! A few days ago the F-16 Viper Demo Team were going from Peru back to Shaw AFB. ACC keep us in the loop in case anything comes up, and for our suprise there was a malfunction with the Demo Aircraft that forced them to land but not at MPPA where the whole team was, they landed at MPTO because it had a longer runway.
Why we talk about readiness, because in 30 minutes we were at MPTO after a long drive from MPPA and with the help of other entities at the Airport we were able to move the aircraft out of the runway and the Airport was able to open 03R runway back to ops.
