Our Story

Vision, Mission, Goals and Purposes of ACS
(i) Vision
- We seek to contribute in the world effort to transform people minds for a new ecological culture where the interaction with the environment is done with better management, exploitation and sustainable use of the resources; proper hygiene habits practices and preventive health resulting in high standards of quality of life for those involved and their future generations , equality and full respect of human rights embedded in the constitution of our country and promote the universal law and natural justice. We assume that these environmental objectives can be achieved through the elimination of poverty and inequality around the world.
(ii) Mission of our organization
We want to help to reverse the deteriorating situation of our environment and quality of life through various actions of sensitization, information and training aimed at disadvantaged sectors of the population, resulting in giving good practices in the use and management of natural resources; proper hygiene habits and preventive health; promotion of sustainable economic activities that ensure a whole elevation of the standards of quality of life of the local population.
(iii) Goals and Purposes - Specific objectives
(a) To contribute to a better quality of life by raising awareness and promoting the empowerment of the disadvantaged of society towards an ecological culture.
(b) Being actors, promoters and strong advocates for environmental conservation.
(c) To promote responsible tourism by promoting the integral development of the area involved.
(d) To help solving the everyday environmental problems such as noise pollution, burning garbage and organic material, misuse of drinking water, and other daily activities that harm the environment
(e) To help solving the problems of health by promoting good practices of hygiene habits and prevention.
(f) To Promote the generation of income for the inhabitants by encouraging and involving them in economic activities while encouraging responsibility, inovation, leadership, professionalism.
(g) To Conduct research and make publications related to issues of local poverty, environmental degradation and other related topics.
(h) To organize social and economic community enterprises that serve the objectives outlined above.
(i) To convene the participation of partners committed to the goals of our organization and willing to support and fund the achievement thereof.
What are our values?
The values of the association are enshined in our mission, vision, goals and purpose and the constitution of the Association. However we need enlight that ACS shares the values of peace, freedom, social progress, equal rights and human dignity as enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Due to the scandals and disripute affecting many NGO's , we want to stress that we place a great emphasis on the values of honesty, transparency, real democracy and the empowerment of all the members in the administration of the affairs of the association.
