; Launching of the District Courts of Papua New Guinea

Magistral Services launches Revenue Generation Database, EFTPOS Machine Rollout and Mediation & File Management Practice Rules.

The launching that took place this afternoon at the Crown Hotel in Port Moresby, saw all magistrates, court staffs and stakeholders participating in this milestone achievement.

On Thursday, 12th February, 2026, the Public Solicitor gave a presentation at the one week Agency Heads Meeting at Apec Haus in Port Moresby. Where he spoke about the reforms that have been undertaken since he took office in 2018 , the legislative reforms, achievements and the government funded projects within his office.

On Wednesday 11th February, 2026, the Office of the Public Solicitor was privileged to have the National Judicial Staff Service Secretary, Mr Nicodimus Mosoro, launched its Annual Plan 2026 on behalf of the NCM leadership.
Mr Mosoro congratulated the Public Solicitor and his management in continuing to lead in the Law and Order Sector.
In response, the Public Solicitor thanked Mr Mosoro and the Acting Public Prosecutor, Ms Helen Roalakona, for attending the launch and said that planning remains a critical part of OPS management because it helps identify priorities so that scarce resources can be utilised in those needy and pressing areas.

On Sunday, 8February, 2026, the Public Solicitor was in Goroka to inspect the refurbished and partitioned space within the FPDA building.

Wewak, East Sepik Province.

On Wednesday, 4th February, 2026, the Public Solicitor was in Wewak to officially hand over a brand new ten seater vehicle to his Solicitor in Charge of the Wewak Branch Office, Mr Alex Kana.

In his speech, the Public Solicitor explained that the vehicle was celebrated because even though there was no funding for replacement of the aging vehicle fleet, there were sacrifices made within the budget to secure this important operational requirement. He charged his SIC to take care of the vehicle so that it helps them in their legal aid work.
Mr Kilepak, the Chief Commissioner Lands was also in attendance as a representative of NCM and commended Mr Mamu for pushing ahead in ensuring access to justice was enabled to the small people in the provinces.

Also in attendance to witness the ceremony were the Deputy Provincial Administrator, the Commanding Officer of Moem Burracks, the State Prosecutor and a representative from the Office of Governor, Dr Karue.
