𝓕𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓛𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓔𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰: 𝓣𝓣𝓢𝓟 𝓢𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓵𝓪𝓻𝓼 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓔𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓮𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓹

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), successfully conducted an Entrepreneurial Development Training cm Business Plan Workshop for 37 scholars under the Tulong sa Trabaho Scholarship Program (TTSP) on April 7–9, 2026.
The three-day activity was held at ARTIYA Training Center, Inc., located in Cabaritan West, Ballesteros, Cagayan, and was conducted by Jose C. Talosig III, Junior Business Counsellor of Negosyo Center Abulug.

The training aimed to equip the scholars with essential entrepreneurial knowledge and skills necessary to start and manage their own businesses. Key topics included business opportunity identification, basic business planning, simple financial management, and marketing strategies. The sessions also emphasized the importance of innovation, adaptability, and sound decision-making in sustaining a business.

As a major output of the workshop, participants were able to develop their own simple business plans, applying the concepts and tools introduced during the training. This hands-on activity enhanced their understanding of the business planning process and prepared them for potential entrepreneurial ventures.

The activity served as a platform to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset of the scholars and encouraged them to explore viable livelihood opportunities that can contribute to income generation and local economic growth.

Through this initiative, DTI continues to support and empower aspiring entrepreneurs by building their capabilities and promoting inclusive and sustainable enterprise development.

23 March 2026 - Nagsagawa ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cagayan Provincial Office, katuwang ang Cagayan Provincial Price Coordinating Council (PPCC), ng isang virtual Focus Group Discussion (FGD) kasama ang mga suppliers at distributors ng Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPCs) sa lalawigan upang tiyakin ang kahandaan ng mga pangunahing sektor sa gitna ng mga umiiral na hamon sa supply chain at mapanatili ang sapat, matatag, at abot-kayang suplay para sa mga mamimili.

Sa isinagawang talakayan, ibinahagi ng mga kalahok na nananatiling matatag ang suplay ng BNPCs sa lalawigan ng Cagayan, na may sapat na imbentaryong karaniwang umaabot sa labing-apat (14) na araw, alinsunod sa kanilang stocking practice. Nananatili ring kontrolado ang galaw ng presyo ng mga nasabing produktong, bagamat may naobserbahang bahagyang pagtaas sa ilang piling item. Samantala, may mga naitalang paggalaw ng presyo sa ilang produkto mula sa ibang kategorya, subalit hindi ito kabilang sa BNPCs.

Binigyang-diin ng DTI Cagayan ang kahalagahan ng tuluy-tuloy na ugnayan at aktibong pagbabahagi ng impormasyon sa pagitan ng pamahalaan at business sector upang mapanatili ang matatag na suplay at presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin at mapangalagaan ang kapakanan ng mga mamimili.
