Today marks a big step forward for our local rice farming community as RCEF Palaysikatan 2.0: Wet Season 2026 Ceremonial Crop Establishment kicks off in Burubud-an.

In partnership with PhilRice, the Department of Agriculture, and our local government through the Municipal Agriculture Office, this program brings modern technology and smart farming strategies straight to our farmers. From live demonstrations of walk-behind rice transplanters to sharing the "Apat Dapat! Diskarte Tipid Tips," this initiative aims to empower our local agricultural sector to achieve higher yields with lower costs.

“ Sumakses na si Dodong” Operation Tuli -Barangayan Caravan successfully served 76 young men, 43 in Brgy. Burubud-an and 33 in Brgy. Kikilo. This community initiative was brought to life through the hard work of our Municipal Health Office - RHU Team and our dedicated Doctors to the Barrio.

Today, we celebrate a monumental milestone for our municipality with the official blessing and inauguration of three newly constructed bridges in Barangay Alangilan, Barangay Tuy-a, and Barangay New Taligue, led by Rev Fr. Manuel Abrenio of St. Francis Xavier Parish. These bridges are far more than just steel and concrete, they are vital lifelines that directly defeat the long-standing challenges of geographic isolation, restricted access, and seasonal vulnerability that have affected our people for too long.

We are deeply honored and grateful to our ever-supportive Congressman of the 5th District, Hon. Carl Nicolas Cari, for gracing this activity with his presence, as his unwavering commitment to our district continues to turn our shared visions of progress into reality. Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to TINGOG Partylist and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez for their immense efforts, steadfast commitment, and support in making these vital projects possible. Through this strong collaboration, we are able to bring impactful infrastructure straight to the heart of our communities.

While these structures are physically anchored in Alangilan, Tuy-a, and New Taligue, their ripple effects create a seamless network that benefits our entire municipality. Commuters, students, and workers from neighboring barangays can now enjoy interconnected pathways that make regional travel safe, efficient, and reliable. By weaving our communities together, this project fosters a stronger sense of unity and shared progress, ensuring that no barangay is left behind as we move forward.

These bridges open new doors of economic opportunity by linking our rural areas directly to major trade routes. Our local farmers and traders can now look forward to drastically reduced travel times and convenience, empowering our local producers with reliable infrastructure.

Most profoundly, these bridges represent a firm commitment to the safety and security of every Abuyognons. These new structures guarantee fast, unhindered emergency responses, ensuring that crucial medical services, disaster relief, and peace and order personnel can reach these areas without delay. By bridging the physical gaps that once hindered us, we have done more than just build pathways, we have secured a safer, more prosperous, and deeply connected future for every Abuyognon.

We are starting early to make this year's celebration our best one yet! Today, May 21, all designated Activity In-Charge, working groups, and safety, peace and order personnel gathered at the Abuyog Hotel for a Mandatory Coordination Meeting.

As a major celebration in our town requires meticulous planning, we are prioritizing early preparation and finalization of all activity schedules. By laying the groundwork this early, we aim to ensure a seamless, safe, and unforgettable Linggo ng Abuyog 2026 for every Abuyognon.

A truly blessed and gratifying day! Earlier today, we gathered for a truly blessed occasion as we held the official Blessing of our newly extended and renovated Municipal Executive Building, led by Rev. Fr. Jose Protacio Catan of the St. Francis Xavier Parish.

This project is more than just new infrastructure, it also represents our continuous commitment to upgrading the way we serve our beloved Abuyognons, and everyone who visits my office. With its new modern touch and vibrant atmosphere, we want to welcome you with a positive, refreshing vibe the moment you step through our doors!

To better serve the public and make your visits hassle-free, we have reorganized our spaces. The Municipal Executive Building ground floor now houses

• The Municipal Administrator’s Office (New Location)
• The PhilHealth Office (New Location)
• The COMELEC Office
• The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO)

To my beloved Abuyognons and to all our visitors, this new and improved space is dedicated entirely to you. You deserve a local government center that is efficient, comfortable, and a source of community pride!
