Today, we commemorate 129 years since the life and ideas of Dr. José Rizal helped awaken a deeper sense of freedom among Filipinos. This is not only a moment of remembrance, but a celebration of a mind that opened paths toward dignity, self-determination, and love of one’s own soil.
Rizal showed that liberation begins with clarity—through education, truth-seeking, and responsible citizenship.
