📚💙 A MEANINGFUL TWO-DAY JOURNEY OF LEARNING AND GROWTH 💙📚

Aroas Elementary School successfully conducted its School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) on September 10–11, 2026, anchored on the theme:

“Empowering Teachers, Transforming Learning: Building Competence, Well-Being, and Innovation for Every Learner.”

The two-day training brought together our teachers for meaningful discussions, professional learning, reflection, collaboration, spiritual renewal, and fellowship. From strengthening teaching strategies and embracing innovation to promoting teacher well-being and effective management of learning, every session contributed to the continuous growth of our educators. 🌱✨

Special appreciation to Rev. Fr. Francis M. Ofrancia for sharing his time and guidance during Day 2, including the Holy Mass and Blessing of the School Grounds. 🙏

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.
