The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reminds everyone to practice proper and safe handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to prevent fire incidents and protect our families.

โœ… Keep LPG cylinders upright and in a well-ventilated area.
โœ… Regularly inspect hoses, regulators, and connections for leaks or damage.
โœ… Turn off the LPG valve after cooking.
โŒ Never use an open flame to check for gas leaks.
โŒ Avoid placing LPG cylinders near heat sources or open flames.
โŒ Never leave cooking unattended.

๐Ÿšจ IF YOU SMELL GAS: Avoid flames and electrical switches, open doors and windows if safe, leave the area, and contact your LPG supplier or emergency services from a safe location.

BFP- Agoncillo reminds everyone to practice proper LPG safety at home to prevent fire incidents and protect lives and properties. Always check LPG hoses and connections regularly for leaks, keep LPG cylinders away from flames and other ignition sources, and ensure proper ventilation when using LPG. Use only approved and properly installed LPG equipment, and always turn off the LPG valve when not in use. Never attempt to repair damaged LPG equipment yourself.

โš ๏ธ If you smell gas, do not light a flame or operate electrical switches. If it is safe to do so, close the LPG valve, evacuate the area, and contact the fire service or a qualified professional from a safe location.
