PROJECT SAKTO LAUNCHING, PTA CONFERENCE AND CARD DAY 2026: Strengthening Partnership for Learners’ Success and Safety
Tampac Integrated School successfully conducted its PTA Conference and Card Day, bringing together parents, learners, teachers and stakeholders in a meaningful gathering focused on strengthening collaboration and supporting the holistic development of every learner and ensuring safety in school premises.
One of the highlights of the activity was the Symposium on School Alertness and Key Teamwork Operation (Project SAKTO) conducted by the Aguilar Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PMAJ MARK RYAN C. TAMAYA. The symposium emphasized the importance of school safety, vigilance, cooperation, and shared responsibility among the school, parents, learners, and the community. Furthermore, PMAJ Taminaya stressed the importance of parental involvement and monitoring more importantly in the students’ use of cellphone, mobile games, and social media. Specifically, Project SAKTO reminded everyone that creating a safe and secure learning environment requires teamwork. Parents and students actively participated in the discussion, demonstrating their commitment to keeping the school community safe and responsive to potential risks and concerns.
During the PTA Conference, important school matters were also discussed, including the school's Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Results and Programs, which aim to strengthen learners' foundational skills and address learning gaps. The grading system and awards and recognition was likewise discussed to promote transparency and help parents better understand how learners' academic performance is assessed based on DepEd Order No 015, s 2026. Afterwhich, parents proceeded in the classrooms for grade level release of Term 1 Report Cards.
In her message, Dr. Racelyn R. Limos, Principal IV, encouraged parents to intensify their partnership with the school and actively participate in programs and initiatives designed to improve learners' academic performance, safety, well-being, and overall development.
Indeed, when parents and the school work together, our learners are given a stronger foundation to succeed. The activity served as a reminder that education is a shared responsibility. Through strong collaboration among parents, teachers, learners, school leaders, and community partners, we can build a school environment where every learner feels safe, supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.
