If one would like to file a complaint against a police official, the complainant will only need to visit Municipal Mayor's Office and look for Ms. Giselle S. Cahumnas, the designate PLEB Secretary.

Because of the effort of Mayor Vic Paul Molina Salarda, MPA, People's Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) in the Municiplaity of Alabel was reactivated through an executive order and resolutions. He considers PLEB as one of the most important special bodies since this is where public can lodge their complaints against police.
Not all people know about People's Law Enforcement Board (PLEB).
Paragraph (a) of Section 43 of RA6975 as amended by RA 8551 specifically states that "The Sangguniang Panlungsod/bayan in every city/municipality shall create such number of People's Law Enforcement Boards (PLEBs) as may be necessary. Provided, that there shall be at least one (1) PLEB for every five-hundred (500) city or municipality police personnel and for each of the legislative district in a city."
The PLEB shall be the central receiving entity for any citizen's complaint against the officers and members of the PNP subject to the provisions of Section 41 of RA 6975 as amended. The PLEB shall take cognizance of or refer the complaint to the proper disciplinary or adjudicatory within three (3) days upon the filing of the complaint.
