Banana Cardava Test Marketing,
May 11, 2026.

We are excited to announce the expansion of the Banana Cardava Test Marketing to Manila.

This initiative is facilitated by DARMO Alamada, with the support of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) from Alamada, Cotabato. The marketing campaign will feature 20 tons of premium Banana Cardava, showcasing the best of local agricultural products.

Leading this effort is the Upper Pacao Agrarian Reform Cooperative (UPARC), along with key partners like PARALUMAN Consumers Cooperative, Paruyan Agrarian Reform Cooperative, PFCC Polayagan Farmers Credit Cooperative (PFCC), and ABNAO FA. This initiative is a key part of the Alamada Expanded Agrarian Reform Community.

This milestone highlights the power of agrarian reform as these local producers unite to bring the finest Banana Cardava to Manila.

On April 15, 2026, an ocular inspection was conducted on government sites designated for public use within the Alamada Resettlement Project No. 2. The inspection was conducted at the Macabasa Elementary School site. The activity was facilitated by the DARMO Alamada staff, ensuring that all land use details align with the government's plans for the area.

Special thanks to Macabasa Elementary School staff, Teacher Agnes Calicaran for accommodating the team, and Sir Ken Camino for his assistance in providing necessary documents.

DARMO Alamada holds its April monthly staff meeting, covering organizational updates, target assessments, task assignments, and strategies for regular targets and SPLIT project implementation.

April 16, 2026 — DARMO Alamada and its lead ARBO, Alamada Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AMPC), conducted an inspection and evaluation of rubber processing equipment under the DARMINSAAD Project.

Joined by representatives from DARPO-PBDD, LGU-OMAG, and the AMPC Board of Directors, the activity aimed to assess the equipment’s condition, functionality, and readiness to support project implementation and benefit farmer-beneficiaries.

Officials said the inspection also formed part of the monitoring process to ensure the equipment meets project standards and helps improve local rubber production and processing.
