The City Legal Office conducted a lecture entitled “CODI for Integrity” at Alaminos City National High School on March 25, 2026 as part of its Gender and Development Program which also coincided with the celebration of International Women's Month.

The lecture aimed to promote the establishment of a Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) within the institution.

On behalf of the City Legal Office, Atty. Melanie P. Aoanan, Atty. Elton Jun Veloria delivered an informative and meaningful presentation. Teaching and non-teaching personnel, along with selected student leaders, attentively listened and participated in the activity.

March 23, 2026- The City Legal Office conducted another lecture on the establishment of a Committee On Decorum and Investigation (CODI) at Alos National High School, Barangay Alos, City of Alaminos, Pangasinan.

Participants from Alos National High School, headed by Principal Ricardo Adviento, warmly welcomed the insights and learnings shared by Atty. Elton Jun Veloria on the process of establishing a CODI and committed to creating their own committee.

The City Legal Office conducted another lecture to encourage public high schools in the city to establish their Committee on Decorum and Investigation. Atty.Elton Jun Veloria explained that the establishment of a CODI is a move towards providing a safe environment to every one within the school's premises by ensuring that complaints for sexual harassments and gender-based sexual harassments addressed.

PUBLIC SERVICE ADVISORY

Effective March 16, 2026, the City Government of Alaminos City will implement a Four-Day Workweek.

This is in support of Memorandum Circular No. 114, directing all government agencies and instrumentalities to strictly adopt energy conservation protocols.
