The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of the Municipality of Alangalang provided technical assistance to the student leaders of the Community College of Alangalang (CCA) through a capacity-building session on Student Leadership, Parliamentary Procedures, Minutes Writing, and Effective Meeting Management.
The session gathered student leaders from the CCA Student Government, Criminologist Guild, Classroom Officers, and other student leadership organizations, providing them with practical knowledge and skills to effectively lead their respective organizations, facilitate meetings, observe proper parliamentary procedures, and document official proceedings.
As the Community College of Alangalang enters its first year of operations, strengthening its student leadership organizations is an important part of building a culture of responsible participation, collaboration, and service among its students.
The activity was made possible through the initiative of the CCA faculty, particularly Ms. Joanna Saballa, Student Affairs and Services Office coordinator, who spearheaded the activity and facilitated the engagement with the LYDO.
LYDO Alangalang remains committed to providing technical assistance and capacity-building opportunities that strengthen youth leadership and empower young people to become effective leaders in their schools and communities.
Lead with purpose. Serve with impact. Empower the youth.
