The Albuera Municipal Ecological Solid Waste Management Board (MESWMB) successfully convened its 2nd Quarter Board Meeting, reaffirming the municipality’s commitment to building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Albuera.

Key discussions focused on strengthening the implementation of the "No Segregation, No Collection" Policy and the No Plastic Day Ordinance, important measures that encourage responsible waste management, environmental stewardship, and active community participation in protecting our environment.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the relaunching of the Search for Model Barangay and Model School Implementing RA 9003, aimed at recognizing and promoting best practices in ecological solid waste management.

This initiative seeks to inspire barangays and educational institutions to become champions of environmental sustainability and compliance with the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.
