Recently:
DepEd- Alcoy District visited Mayor Michael Angelo S. Sestoso to show gratitude for the support extended to our local athletes and coaches during 2023 Cebu Provincial Sports Meet held in Liloan, Cebu last March 17-19, 2023.
The athletes proudly presented their medals to the mayor and in return, the mayor pledged full support from the Local Government to further enhance the abilities of our athletes and aspirants.

Alcoy LGU joins the world as we celebrate the "International Day of Forests 2023" with a mangrove tree planting activity in Barangay Pugalo.
The activity was participated by various agencies including DENR Central Visayas, DENR 7 Cenro Argao, DILG, DepEd Tayo Region VII, GEMCA, Alcoy Public Information Office, Alcoy MDRRMO, Philippine Mining Service Corporation- Alcoy Dolomite Plant, and Dolomite Mining Corporation, Alcoy Cebu City .

Base sa mga ulahing panghitabo naghinay-hinay nag kuyanap ang bag-ong sakit sa mga hayupan ilabi na gyud kining sakit nga nailhan sa ngalan nga ASF o African Swine Fever. Nunot niini, hugot nga gisugyot sa Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Alcoy nga ipaseguro o ipa-insure ang inyung mga binuhing hayupan ilabi na gyud ang mga baboy.
Kini alang sa kalinaw sa panghuna-huna (peace of mind) sa mga nanginabuhi pinaagi sa hayupan. Abag kini aron mahupay ang kabalaka sa mga mag-uuma ug mga namuhig hayupan.
Alang sa dugang detalye, bisitaha lamang ang buhatan sa Agriculture Department sa atong munisipyo ug pangutana kabahin niining libreng insurance sa mga hayupan.

Alang sa mga consumers sa POATAB Waterworks sa atong lungsod, gipahibalo nga naguba ang Pump Number 3 nga nahimutang sa Sitio Lalin. Mao kini ang pinaka dako nga pump o bomba nga nagsupporta sa atong panubig mao nga gibanabana nga maapektuhan ang tanang POATAB consumers niini.
Giawhag ang tanan sa pag sag.ob o pag pondo ug tubig nga gamitonon sa inyuhang panimalay aron sa paglikay sa dugang kadaot epekto niining paghinay sa supply sa tubig.
Makasalig kamo nga gibuhat sa POATAB Waterworks Team ug sa Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Alcoy ang tanan aron lamang masulbad kining maong dili kalikayang kalangan.

RECENTLY: Caravan of Provincial Government Services for the 2nd District of Cebu held at Samboan yesterday, March 14, 2023. Alcoy was represented by our Mayor Michael Angelo S. Sestoso, Vice Mayor Neil Tracy Q. Plando, SB Member Efren Duran, and ABC Prexy Violeta D. Sestoso.
This is the 7th leg for the 1st quarter Caravan of Provincial Government Services of the year. Slippers, seedlings, cash aids, assistive devices and many more were given by Governor Gwen Garcia to beneficiaries from the 2nd District.

Ceremonial Launching of the Balay Silangan Reformation Program of the Municipality of Alcoy in partnership with PDEA, PNP, DILG and other agencies.
Held at the Poblacion Gym in Cangcaya, this program aims to aide the reformation of drug personalities as they try to turn their lives around and away from illegal drugs.
