Please be informed that there will be a temporary water interruption in Barangay Gamuton tomorrow, February 10, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM, due to necessary maintenance activities.

Residents are advised to store enough water ahead of time and use it wisely during the interruption.

PUBLIC ADVISORY
Temporary Water Interruption

The Local Government Unit of Alegria, through the Engineering Office and the Waterworks Unit, informs the public that an unexpected damage in our water system has caused the abrupt interruption of water supply earlier today. Our technical team is now conducting the necessary repairs to restore the system as soon as possible.

To facilitate the repair works, we will temporarily **shut off the water source** affecting the following areas:

* Poblacion
* Gamuton
* Ombong
* Some parts of Anahaw

Schedule of Water Interruption:
📌 6:00 PM, November 30, 2025

Meanwhile, we will provide temporary water restoration to Barangay San Pedro from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

We assure the public that full restoration of the water supply*is targeted by tomorrow, December 1, 2025.

We encourage all residents in the affected areas to store enough water for your essential needs during this period.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Please be informed that we have temporarily shut off the water supply due to strong winds currently affecting our area. This decision was made to ensure the safety of everyone, as there is a risk of falling coconuts and debris that could endanger our personnel.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation during this time. Please conserve your remaining water and use it wisely so that your stored supply will last longer while the situation is being monitored.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY: Possible Water Interruption Due to Typhoon Tino

In light of the possible effects of Typhoon Tino, there may be temporary water service interruptions should heavy rainfall or power fluctuations occur in our service areas.

We strongly advise all consumers to store sufficient clean water in preparation for any potential disruption in water supply during the typhoon’s duration.

Our team will continuously monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.

In preparation for UNDAS 2025, the Municipal Economic Enterprise and Development Office (MEEDO) personnel and staff conducted a Clean-Up Drive Operation at the Alegria Public Cemetery, spearheaded by MEEDO Head Sir Ryan T. Abarico.

This initiative aims to ensure a clean and orderly environment as we honor our departed loved ones. 💐

To all individuals intending to avail of display spaces along the cemetery road this coming November 1 and 2:
Due to limited available space and to avoid overcrowding of vendors, we require interested parties submit your LETTER OF INTENT to the Municipal Economic Enterprise and Development Office (MEEDO) for recording and proper assignment of stall spaces.

We will be issuing temporary vending permit with control number only to those who have submitted their letter of intent. Deadline of submission is on October 30, 2025
