WHAT EVERY TEACHER WISH ALL PARENTS KNOW

Dear Parents,
There are some things teachers wish we could say loudly—but we usually whisper them in the staffroom.

1️⃣ We are not against your child. We are for them.
When we correct, discipline, or insist on standards, it’s not hatred. It’s preparation for life.

2️⃣ Your child at home is not the same child in school.
You see one version. We see another version with 20–40 other children. Please trust our professional observations.

3️⃣ Education doesn’t start and end in school.
If a child is rúde, lázy, disrespectful, or unserious, school alone cannot fix what home encourages.

4️⃣ Homework is not puníshment.
It’s practice. Just like sports training. A child you “help” by doing the work for is the one you hurt most.

5️⃣ Please talk with us, not about us.
If there’s an issue, come and ask. Most teachers are willing to explain, adjust, and help.

6️⃣ We notice effort, not just grades.
A child who tries deserves applause too. Growth matters more than comparison.

7️⃣ Respect for teachers teaches children respect for learning.
When parents insult teachers in front of children, learning loses value instantly.

8️⃣ Every child learns differently.
Not every child will be first. Not every child will be a doctor. But every child can succeed with support.

9️⃣ We carry your children in our hearts.
Even when we are tired, underpaid, or misunderstood, we still show up—because we care.

🔟 We need partnership, not pressure.
When school and home work together, children win.

A teacher can water the seed, but parents prepare the soil.

If you’re a parent reading this, thank you for listening.
If you’re a teacher, you know this is the truth.

Hello Thomasians kahit bakasyon let’s learn and enjoy this natural phenomena

🌕☀️ January 3, 2026 | Double Sky Event 🌍✨

🌕 Wolf Moon (Full Moon)
The first Full Moon of 2026, known as the Wolf Moon, shines on January 3. In many northern cultures, its name is linked to the howling of wolves during the deep winter nights.

☀️ Earth at Perihelion
On the same day, at around 17:15 UTC, Earth reaches perihelion — the point in its orbit when our planet is closest to the Sun.

🔭 Fun fact:
Even at its closest, Earth’s distance from the Sun doesn’t control the seasons — Earth’s tilt does.

✨ A beautiful alignment of lunar tradition and orbital science to start the year!
