RHU Alicia and BHS Paddad conducted a catch-up school-based immunization program at Alicia National High School.School-based immunization aims to provide accessible and timely vaccinations to students within the school setting, helping to increase immunization coverage, prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases, and promote overall community health. It ensures that children and adolescents receive necessary vaccines in a convenient and organized manner, supporting public health goals and protecting young populations.

The Paddad Barangay Health Station, composed of Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Nutrition Scholars, together with their nurse Ulysses T. Villar, carried out a monitoring activity at Alicia East Central School. The purpose was to assess the weight and height of elementary students to identify those who are underweight, wasted, or severely wasted—key indicators of malnutrition.

Ulysses T. Villar, RN -Nurse II, effectively collaborated with the principal of Alicia National High School to conduct health education sessions focused on the MRTD (Measles, Rubella, Tetanus, and Diphtheria) catch-up immunization for Grade 7 students.

"PUROKALUSUGAN PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION REVIEW" AT ALICIA COMMUNITY CENTER

The Purok Kalusugan program is a Department of Health (DOH) initiative designed to deliver essential healthcare services directly to communities, particularly at the grassroots level. It aims to strengthen healthcare delivery across the country by focusing on health promotion, preventive care, and curative services.

The PUROKALUSUGAN Program Implementation Review is a focused assessment of how the program delivers essential health services at the community level. The review evaluates the effectiveness of providing accessible and affordable healthcare, such as maternal and child health, vaccinations, nutrition, and disease prevention, directly in local "puroks" or zones.
