In observance of “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day” and in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 96, the Municipality of Alitagtag will implement a half-day transaction on September 22, 2025. All municipal offices, except those rendering frontline services, will be open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN only. This initiative highlights the importance of giving time to our families while ensuring continuous service to the public.

Dear partners in Local Governance,

In line with the continuing efforts of the Local Government Unit of Alitagtag, Batangas to promote participatory governance and pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2025-060, the Sangguniang Bayan is now accepting applications for accreditation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) operating in the municipality.

Accreditation will allow your organization to actively participate in local development councils, special bodies, and other mechanisms that promote citizen involvement in governance. Through this, your organization will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to policy-making and program implementation in our municipality.

We are encouraging all qualified and interested CSOs, including people’s organizations, cooperatives, NGOs, social movements, professional associations, and others to apply for accreditation by submitting the required documents to the CSO Desk Officer, Ma. Louela Maranan or to the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan, Alitagtag, Batangas.

The following are the documentary requirements:

1. Duly accomplished application form for accreditation
2. Letter of application
3. CSO Board Resolution signifying intention to be accredited
4. List of current officers and members
5. Minutes and Annual meetings
6. Annual accomplishment report

We hope to foster a stronger partnership between the local government and CSOs in ensuring inclusive, accountable, and community-driven development.
