A heartfelt thank you to the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB)- Allen Municipal Chapter for making this 3-Day BNAP Workshop possible through their generous funding and support.

This meaningful activity was made even more valuable through our partnership with the National Nutrition Council Region 8, headed by Dr. Catalino Dotollo Jr., RNPC NNC-8, whose team provided our dedicated trainer and technical expertise.

With LnB’s support, NNC Region 8’s expertise, and the Nutrition Office’s coordination and organization, we were able to make this workshop happen and create a meaningful learning experience for everyone. 🤝✨

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at sumuporta sa pagdiriwang ng 𝟓𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 Celebration ng Bayan ng Allen!

Ang tagumpay ng ating selebrasyon ay naging posible dahil sa pagtutulungan at pakikiisa ng ating mga barangay, mga opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan, mga partner na organisasyon, mga volunteer, at lahat ng mamamayang nakibahagi sa mga gawain para sa nutrisyon.

Sa temang “𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝘼𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙖𝙣,” muli nating napatunayan na sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos, mapapalakas natin ang kalusugan at nutrisyon ng bawat pamilya habang pinangangalagaan ang ating kapaligiran.

Mula sa Municipal Nutrition Office, taos-puso po ang aming pasasalamat sa inyong oras, suporta, at dedikasyon. Nawa’y magpatuloy ang ating pagkakaisa sa pagtataguyod ng mas malusog, mas masigla, at mas maunlad na komunidad para sa lahat.

Bumisita at mamili ng iba't ibang sariwang gulay, prutas, at iba pang produktong agrikultural na direktang mula sa ating mga lokal na magsasaka. Sa bawat pagbili, hindi lamang kayo nakakakuha ng masustansiyang pagkain para sa inyong pamilya, kundi nakatutulong din kayo sa kabuhayan ng ating mga magsasaka at sa pagtataguyod ng lokal na produksyon ng pagkain.

Guided by the National Nutrition Council's overarching theme, “𝐒𝐚 𝐏𝐏𝐀𝐍, 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚-𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭,” and this year's sub-theme, “𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧!”, we stand united in promoting good nutrition, food security, and environmental protection for a healthier and more resilient community.

Nutrition is a shared responsibility. Through the collective efforts of our local government, partner agencies, barangays, schools, organizations, and every Allenian, we can build a future where every family has access to safe, nutritious food while preserving the natural resources that sustain our lives and livelihoods.

As we celebrate this year's Nutrition Month, let us strengthen our commitment to healthy lifestyles, sustainable food systems, and community action. Together, let us nurture both people and the environment—because a healthy community begins with healthy families and a healthy planet.

LOOK: Rustle King Embodo, RND, Provincial Nutrition Focal Point for Northern Samar, and Ernest R. Dimakiling, Regional Program Coordinator for Tutok Kainan, paid a courtesy call to Mayor Katkat Suan to discuss the implementation of the program in Allen and its role in strengthening local nutrition efforts.

Also present during the meeting was Municipal Nutrition Action Officer Antonete Je-Ann F. Cabahug, RND.

Student Immersion in Action | Public Health Nutrition

The Municipal Nutrition Office proudly recognizes the immersion students from 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 and 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 for their dedication, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude throughout the completion of their required deployment hours. During their immersion, the students actively participated in both office-based tasks and field activities, gaining hands-on experience in the actual practice of public health nutrition.

Their willingness to learn, respect for guidance, and professionalism in dealing with colleagues and community members reflected their strong character and commitment to growth. Through exposure to nutrition programs, documentation, community work, and public service, the students developed a deeper understanding of the vital role of nutrition in promoting health and well-being.

We commend these young individuals for showing discipline, teamwork, and enthusiasm as they continue to develop their skills and values as future professionals. The Municipal Nutrition Office is grateful to be part of their learning journey and wishes them continued success in their academic and personal endeavors. 🌱✨
