As of 8:00 AM today, 18 August 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 08f) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a “HIGH” chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
Another Low Pressure Area (LPA 08g) is being monitored outside the PAR and has a “HIGH” chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a Tropical Depression is being monitored outside the PAR.
All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
