ALU CELEBRATES THE 2023 WOMEN'S MONTH

This month, we continue to advocate for gender equality and the elimination of gender discrimination in the workplace. We call for gender pay equity as women workers deserve equal pay for equal work of equal value. We push forward to end violence and harassment in the world of work and call for the ratification of ILO C190.

TUCP MESSAGE FOR THE NEW YEAR

As 2022 came to an end, we reflect on our blessings. Today, we celebrate the love of our families and communities and the renewed hope in the future towards better and more decent lives for all Filipinos.

Our economy is now building back better from the ravages of the pandemic. We have a new Administration that seeks to lead not through threats but through moral authority. International respect for our nation and our people has been revitalized, hence better prospects for more investments to generate new decent jobs.

But much remains to be done: ending "ENDO", fighting for a living wage, bringing down the prices of goods through sound fiscal and food security policies and programs, caring for the environment, ensuring affordable and reliable energy, and closing the gap between the haves and have nots.

With TUCP's new and expanded role in Congress and the Executive Branch, we are humbled by your trust and confidence that we will remain unwavering in championing the plight of Filipino workers and their families. Through unity of purpose and action with civil society, increased social partnership with Government and employers, and a revitalized united labor movement, no noble goal is beyond our grasp.

With full confidence, we in TUCP greet 2023 knowing that our richest asset has not been material wealth but has always been our most precious values: hard work, sacrifice for family, "bayanihan" solidarity, and love of country!

Together with all of you, TUCP will continue in 2023 to work to "SAVE JOBS AND SAVE LIVES".

WE WISH EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

#2023!
