The Bureau of Fire Protection – Negros Island Region, under the leadership of 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗚 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗘, Acting Regional Director, together with Amlan Fire Station personnel headed by 𝗦𝗙𝗢3 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗚 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮, conducted the Initial Screening of aspiring Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) applicants.

This activity aims to assess their compliance with the minimum qualification standards and documentary requirements prescribed by the Bureau of Fire Protection.

The activity served as a skills enhancement to reinforce the correct application of bandages for managing injuries and providing effective first aid during emergencies.

Boxes, furniture, and other items blocking escape routes can slow evacuation and put lives at risk during an emergency. Always ensure that hallways, stairways, gates, and exit doors remain clear and easily accessible to allow everyone to evacuate quickly and safely when needed.

15 JULY 2026|| Daily Morning Routine

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Negros Island Region, under the leadership of 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗚 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗘, Acting Regional Director, together with Amlan Fire Station personnel headed by 𝗦𝗙𝗢3 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗚 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮, conducted their daily morning routine, which included knot-tying drills, cleaning of the Area of Responsibility (AOR), and fire truck familiarization.

The knot-tying exercise enhanced firefighters' proficiency in essential rescue knots, while the cleaning of the AOR promoted a safe, organized, and conducive working environment. Fire truck familiarization ensured that all personnel remained knowledgeable about the vehicle's components, firefighting equipment, and proper operational procedures, enabling a prompt and effective response during emergencies.

These daily activities reflect the station's commitment to professionalism, preparedness, and the continuous delivery of efficient public safety services.
