Alpha Battery, 6FAB

Alpha (Neutralizer) Battery, 6th Field Artillery Battalion, Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army (6FAB, AR, PA) conducted its Annual Physical Fitness Test (PFT) at the 601st Brigade in Brgy. Kamasi, Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur (MDS).

The Philippine Army states that the PFT is part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Physical Fitness Program and is used to assess the physical readiness of military personnel.

Military personnel take the PFT twice a year for purposes such as promotion, reenlistment, and annual and semi-annual requirements.

Team Neutralizer “Alpha Battery” Welcomes Newly Installed Battery Commander

601st Brigade, Kamasi, Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur - A new chapter begins for the Alpha Battery, 6TH Field Artillery Battalion, As 1LT ALEXANDER L RAZON (ART) PA, formally assumed command from CPT ROWEL C VENTURA (ART) PA, During the change of command ceremony on 18 September 2026 at the 601st Brigade. The ceremony was presided over by LTC JEFFREY S FERRER (ART) PA, Acting Battalion Commander, 6TH Field Artillery Battalion.

CPT VENTURA, Outgoing Battery Commander, is commended for his exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to the accomplishment of the Battery’s mission. His tenure was marked by professionalism, discipline, and devotion to duty.

As he relinquishes command, the Battery expresses its sincere appreciation for his invaluable service and wishes him continued success in his future assignment.

1LT RAZON, Newly Installed Battery Commander, is welcomed as he assumes the responsibility of command. May he continue to uphold the proud traditions of the Battery and lead its personnel with integrity, courage, competence, and dedication.
