Being a man doesnโ€™t mean you always have to be strong, silent, or keep your emotions to yourself.

Itโ€™s okay to cry. Itโ€™s okay to feel. Itโ€™s okay to ask for help.

Emotions are not a weaknessโ€”they are part of being human. True strength is having the courage to be honest about what you feel and to seek support when you need it.

Letโ€™s break the stereotypes that tell men they have to hide their emotions. Letโ€™s create a space where every man can feel, express, heal, and be himself.

Crying doesnโ€™t make you less of a man. It makes you human. ๐Ÿ’™

For generations, society has shaped the idea that men should stay silent, hide their feelings, and believe that showing emotions is a form of weakness.

Redefining masculinity means breaking free from the stigma that limits men from embracing their full humanity.

Turning ideas into opportunities!

As part of Linggo ng Kabataan, the City Government of Butuan, together with the City Education and Development Department, Butuan City Youth Development Council, and Caraga State University, conducted an Agri-Aqua Entrepreneurship Seminar to help students develop their skills in building business ideas related to agriculture and aquaculture.

From a GAD perspective, empowering young people with knowledge, skills, and opportunities for entrepreneurship helps promote equal participation and access to economic opportunities regardless of gender. ๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŒพ

This September, the GAD Program and Training Development Unit (GPTDU) joins the call to change the narrative on su***de by promoting awareness, understanding, and compassion.

Let us create spaces where people feel safe to speak, be heard, and seek support without judgment. Sometimes, a simple conversation, a listening ear, or a reminder that someone cares can make a difference.

Letโ€™s start the conversation. Letโ€™s listen. Letโ€™s support one another. ๐Ÿซ‚

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, a time to pause, listen, and shine a light on a conversation that can be difficult but is deeply important: su***de.

This month, let us come together to raise awareness, break the stigma, deepen our connections, and create safe spaces where people feel heard and supported.

Let us start the conversation. Let us listen without judgement. And let us remind one another that no one has to face their struggles alone. ๐Ÿซ‚
