🚫 Government employees are now prohibited from engaging in ANY FORM OF GAMBLING.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) issued Resolution No. 2600111, which bans government officials and employees from participating in gambling activities—whether in person or online, and regardless of location or time.

Prohibited acts include:

🎰 Entering or staying in casinos and gambling establishments
💻 Engaging in online gambling such as online casinos, e-bingo, and e-sabong
🎲 Participating in or organizing any other gambling activity

The policy aims to strengthen integrity in public service and uphold the principle that public office is a public trust.

The resolution was published today in The Philippine Star and will take effect 15 days after publication.

On this day, the Local Government Unit of Anda, Bohol, headed by Mayor Angelina B. Simacio, joins the nation in commemorating the 84th Araw ng Kagitingan through a flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremony.

This year's theme is "Giting ng Bayani, Pamana sa Salinlahi."

The event was attended by personnel from the PNP, BFP, AFP, Philippine Coast Guard, LGU-Anda SB officials, Department heads, and employees.

April 9, 2026, marks the 84th anniversary of Araw ng Kagitingan, or Day of Valor, a day dedicated to honoring those who defended our country during World War II.

The LGU-Anda continues to honor the legacy of Filipino heroes by fostering remembrance and patriotism among present and future generations.

Please be informed that all offices of the Local Government Unit of Anda, Bohol will adopt a five-hour work schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 NOON only.

This is in line with Memorandum No. 60, Series of 2026, issued by Hon. Angelina B. Simacio, Municipal Mayor, and pursuant to Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 116, to give government employees full opportunity to properly observe Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and to allow time for travel to and from their respective destinations.

Office work schedule for April 1, 2026:

✅Open: 7:00 AM – 12:00 NOON

❌ Suspended: 12:00 NOON onwards

Please note: Offices and personnel involved in basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, peace and order, emergency operations, and other vital public services shall continue to operate under their usual working arrangements to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential services.

📌 LGU-ANDA Awarded with the CNA Certificate of Registration

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Anda, Bohol, in collaboration with the Anda Municipal Employees Association (AMEA), celebrates a significant milestone in strengthening employee-management cooperation by receiving the Certificate of Registration for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) on March 16, 2026.

The certificate was personally awarded by Director Bernadette C. Prado, Director II of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Bohol - Field Office. Mayor Angelina B. Simacio and AMEA President Mr. John Emman Lopena, along with other association officers, were present to receive the award.

Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, as well as Department and Office heads, attended the awarding ceremony, symbolizing the strong and collaborative partnership between both parties.

The CNA Certificate of Registration will be valid until November 25, 2028, signifying a mutual commitment to promoting employee welfare, workplace improvement, and constructive dialogue regarding workforce concerns.

This CNA Certificate of Registration reaffirms LGU-Anda’s dedication to empowering a professional, people-centered public service anchored in transparency, collaboration, and employee engagement.
