C for Competent 💯

Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Education equips the students with practical and hands-on skills that are valuable both in the workplace and higher education. At San Jose NHS, TVL is furthered under the Home Economics strand where the art and passion in cookery and bread and pastry production are explored and developed. Under the tutelage of Dr. Caroline P. Bugarin, the students under this strand successfully aced the assessment on two different occasions.

A hundred percent competence marked March 21, 2026 when the Grade 12 TVL Home Economics students aced the assessment for Cookery (NCII) at TESDA-PTI in Binmaley, Pangasinan.

The Grade 11 TVL Home Economics, together with their adviser, Mr. Juman Felix S. Ortaleza, successfully passed the assessment for Bread and Pastry Production (NCII) on March 29, 2026 at Edson Training Center in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

To more craft honed and to more skills learned. Long live, TVL.
