The 𝑷𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒄 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 (𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶), in partnership with 𝑻𝑬𝑺𝑫𝑨 and 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝑰𝒏𝒄., successfully conducted the Orientation for Free Training in 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐂 𝐈𝐈, 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒏. 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒂

The orientation was facilitated by Ms. Melissa Constantino, Trainer for Bread and Pastry Production, together with Ms. Ellen Zuniga of TESDA and Ms. Airin Pabalan of World Link Institute for Technical Studies Inc., who provided technical guidance and discussed the program overview for the participants.

The initiative aims to strengthen skills development and promote livelihood opportunities through technical-vocational training, in support of the government’s employment facilitation and human resource development programs.

The Local Government of Angeles City, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) led by PESO Manager Ferdinand P. Calma, successfully conducted the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Orientation for Batch 2 at the PESO Office.

The orientation aimed to provide the student-beneficiaries with essential information regarding government policies, workplace conduct, assigned duties, and program guidelines to ensure their preparedness prior to deployment. Participants were also oriented on the importance of professionalism, discipline, and responsibility as young public servants and future workforce contributors.

The SPES program, one of the national government’s employment initiatives for students, continues to serve as a valuable opportunity for deserving youth to earn while pursuing their education. Through the continuous support of the Angeles City Government, the program helps empower students by providing temporary employment, practical work experience, and financial assistance for their schooling needs.

The City Government of Angeles remains committed to implementing inclusive employment programs and youth development initiatives that promote education, productivity, and community involvement among the city’s young Angelenos.

The Local Government of Angeles City, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) led by PESO Manager Ferdinand P. Calma, together with Ms. Irene Bianson, OFW Focal Person, Ms. Queenie Gamboa, and Mr. Ronald Pabalan, in collaboration with OWWA Region III represented by Ms. Crystal Joy Toriano, successfully conducted an Information Dissemination Activity at Barangay Margot.

The activity aimed to provide valuable information and updates to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families regarding programs, services, and opportunities available for their welfare and development.

As part of the activity, the election of new officers for the OFC Family Circle was also successfully conducted, strengthening the organization and promoting active participation among OFW families in the community.

This initiative reflects the continuous commitment of the local government in empowering OFWs and their families through information, support, and community engagement.
