Tonight, June 2, I visited the wakes of two of our constituents: the Dungca-Quizon Family from Brgy. Sto. Domingo and the Canatoy Family from Brgy. Lourdes Northwest. During my visit, I extended my prayers and deepest condolences to the bereaved families and shared a brief moment of comfort and support with them in their time of loss.

Our lunch stop today, June 2, was at OH CHICKEN, where we tried their Oh Rice Boneless meal, which comes with two pieces of flavorful boneless chicken served with rice. Tonight, June 1, I visited the wake of one of our constituents, a member of the Calong-Aringo family from Brgy. Sapalibutad. I had a brief conversation with the bereaved family and extended my prayers and sincere condolences during this time of grief.

Sa ngalan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Angeles at ni Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, taos-pusong pasasalamat ang aming ipinapaabot sa lahat ng indibidwal, organisasyon, negosyo, volunteer groups, simbahan, at iba pang mga nagkaloob ng pagkain, inumin, kagamitan, at iba’t ibang uri ng suporta para sa ating mga responder na naka-deploy sa Search, Rescue, Retrieval, at Clearing Operations sa Brgy. Balibago.

Sa gitna ng mahaba, masalimuot, at emosyonal na operasyon, naging malaking tulong ang inyong malasakit, pagkakaisa, at kahandaang tumulong. Ang bawat pagkain, bote ng tubig, kagamitan, panalangin, at suporta ay nagsilbing dagdag na lakas at inspirasyon sa mga tauhang walang pagod na nagseserbisyo sa Ground Zero.

Ipinakita ninyo ang tunay na diwa ng bayanihan at malasakit para sa kapwa sa panahon ng pagsubok. Ang inyong kabutihang-loob ay hindi lamang nakatulong sa ating mga responders kundi nagbigay rin ng pag-asa at lakas sa buong komunidad.

Tonight, May 30, I visited the wakes of two of our constituents—the Mercado Family from Brgy. Sapalibutad and the De Guzman Family from Brgy. Pampang—to personally express my sympathies. I had a brief conversation with the bereaved families, offering my prayers, support, and deepest condolences as they mourn the loss of their loved ones. In these moments of grief, may they find comfort in the love and solidarity of those around them.
