The overwhelming turnout and enthusiastic participation demonstrated by our community members truly exemplify the spirit of unity and cooperation that defines Barangay Serallo.

Before the meeting commenced, we had the opportunity to come together as a community and share a moment of generosity and kindness. It warms my heart to announce that we provided food assistance to the first 30 residents who arrived. This initiative aimed not only to nourish our bodies but also to foster a sense of unity and solidarity among us.

As we convene on this Barangay Assembly Day, I am honored to address you on critical issues that demand our collective attention and action. Joined by distinguished representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) FO1 Erwin B. Torres, the Department of Agriculture (DA) under the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Ms. Norlyn A. Montano, the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO)/Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Ms. Annalee Flores and the Anilao Rural Health Unit in representing Dr. Karen Gonzales, Ms. Amy Apurada. Together, we aim to discuss and address the challenges posed by grass fires, solid waste management, various aspects of healthcare and disaster preparedness within our community.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all our esteemed guests and speakers who graced us with their presence and shared valuable insights and expertise. Your contributions have enriched our discussions and inspired us to strive for excellence in all our endeavors.

As we celebrate this achievement, let us not rest on our laurels but rather let it serve as a catalyst for further progress and development in Barangay Serallo. Let us continue to work hand in hand, nurturing a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and compassion that empowers every member of our community.

Lastly, I am deeply grateful for the privilege of serving as your Barangay Captain, and I am honored to be part of such a vibrant and resilient community. Together, let us build upon the success of this activity and chart a course towards a brighter and more prosperous future for Barangay Serallo.

Thank you once again, and may we continue to journey forward
with courage, determination, and unity.

Last February 25-26, 2024, the Liga ng mga Barangay-Anilao Chapter outlined the several agendas for the Basic Orientation Course for Newly Elected Barangay Officials as part of their BNEO Program. The event was held at Small Ville 21 in Iloilo City.

Throughout the two-day program, we engaged in comprehensive sessions covering a range of important topics. Providing us with valuable insights, knowledge, and skills essential for effective governance and community leadership.

This comprehensive orientation program has been meticulously planned and organized under the leadership of our Provincial Liga President, Board Member Amalia Victoria Debuque. With the support of the Training Management Team and guidance from experts from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Anilao LGU.

We are confident that the insights and practical guidance gained from this orientation program will empower us to navigate the complexities of barangay governance effectively. By upholding the principles of good governance and fostering strong relationships with our constituents, we will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Once again, congratulations on your participation in this
significant initiative. As you apply the knowledge and skills acquired during this program, I commend you for your dedication to enhancing your knowledge and skills. Your willingness to invest in your personal and professional development reflects your genuine desire to serve your constituents, may you continue to uphold the highest standards of service and integrity in your roles as barangay officials.

Under the dedicated supervision of Committee on Environment Chairperson, Brgy. Kagawad Mylin P. Licera, and with the strong leadership of Punong Barangay Dennis Aparri, our community has come together to address environmental concerns and improve the overall quality of life for residents.

As we continue our weekly Community Clean-Up Drive and drainage declogging efforts, we encourage all residents to actively participate and support this important initiative. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and create a brighter future for Brgy. Serallo Anilao.

Thank you once again to everyone who participated in and supported our Community Clean-Up Drive. Let's continue to nurture our shared spaces, support one another, and strive for a cleaner, greener future for our community.
