📢 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

The Municipal Health Office would like to inform the public that there will be NO OPD consultation, laboratory services, and other health services on Thursday and Friday (9/4-5/2025). This is to give way for our entire health team to attend the WAH Training, an important capacity-building activity that will further enhance our service delivery to the community.

Regular health services will resume on Monday.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Rest assured that this training will help us serve you better. 💚

The Local Health Board (LHB) Meeting was formally convened today with the presence of DMO IV Ma’am Remedios Peleo, Local Chief Executive Hon. Dominador ‘Ambo’ Dayag, our Municipal Health Officer Dr. Maria Rowena Guzman Marantan, together with other esteemed LHB members and stakeholders. The meeting served as a vital platform to address pressing health concerns, review and reinforce existing programs, and strengthen partnerships between the local government and health institutions. Ang Dengue Nagbabanta! Mag-5S Para Laging Handa! Gawin ang 5S Kontra Dengue para makaiwas sa sakit!

✅ Search and destroy mosquito breeding places tulad ng mga lumang gulong, paso, balde at drum
✅ Secure self-protection tulad ng pantalon, long sleeved na damit, at mosquito repellant
✅ Seek early consultation lalo na kung may sintomas ng dengue tulad ng mataas na lagnat at sakit ng kasu-kasuan, at pananakit ng likod ng mata
✅ Support fogging and spraying only in hotspot areas
✅ Sustain hydration lalo na kapag nilalagnat dahil sa dengue

At huwag kalimutan, kapag may sintomas ng dengue, sa Eksperto sa pinakamalapit na primary care provider sa inyong lugar.

Mga kababayan, huwag tayong maging kampante! Ang dengue ay nagiging banta sa kalusugan ng bawat isa sa atin. Sa mga karaniwang araw, ang mga lamok ay madalas silang matatagpuan sa mga tambak, masukal, madumi, at basang lugar.

Upang mapanatili ang proteksyon laban sa sakit na Dengue, mahalaga ang pagkakaroon ng malinis at maayos na kapaligiran.

Narito ang mga impormasyon, paalala, at mga hakbang na dapat nating sundin upang mas epektibong mapigilan ang pagkalat ng Dengue.

TANDAAN: Ang dengue ay maaaring magdulot ng malubhang kondisyon at maging sanhi ng pagkamatay kung hindi maagapan. Huwag nang palampasin ang mga sintomas at huwag nang hintayin na lumala pa ang sitwasyon! Tayo na't magtulungan para mapanatiling ligtas ang ating komunidad.

This week, August 18–20, the Aparri East Team participated in the Wireless Access for Health (WAH) Training on Electronic Medical Records (EMR). The training was attended by our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Maria Rowena Guzman Marantan, Public Health Nurse II Sharon Dela Cruz,Dentist Dr. Lyric Alias and IT Sir Mark Christiane Reyes. This initiative aimed to strengthen the team’s capacity in utilizing EMR for more efficient patient data management, accurate documentation, and improved accessibility of health information. With this, Aparri East reaffirms its commitment to providing quality and innovative healthcare services to the community.
