As part of the security measures for the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr (PBBM), the Philippine National Police will be implementing a six-day Gun Ban in Metro Manila.
Suspension of the Permit to Carry Fi****ms Outside Residence (PTCFOR) will be implemented during the same period.

The Filipino nation deserves to hear the State of the Nation Address sans any undue interference and noise to allow us to assimilate and embrace the national outlook.
A Security Task Force has been activated to sustain the gains and momentum of ensuring safe and secure "SONA 2022".
