LNNHS GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES

From the preparations to the actual camp and all the activities in between, here are some snapshots of our LNNHS Girl Scouts and their Titas as they take on different challenges and make the most of their scouting experience.

The journey began with preparing the camp equipment and facilities, followed by the GSP Investiture Assembly and a series of activities that tested their skills, patience, teamwork, and resourcefulness. Through the challenges they faced, the girls learned to be more independent, responsible, and ready to help one another.

Beyond the activities and challenges, the camp also gave them the chance to build stronger friendships, create wonderful memories, and learn valuable lessons in leadership, discipline, and cooperation. Every task completed and every challenge overcome became part of an experience they can carry with them even after the camp.

With the guidance and support of their dedicated Titas, our Girl Scouts showed that scouting is not just about learning new skills but also about developing confidence, building character, and living out the spirit of sisterhood and service.

Congratulations to our LNNHS Girl Scouts for making this experience meaningful and memorable! May you continue to grow, serve, and live by the values of scouting wherever your journey takes you. 💚⚜️

LNNHS BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES | 2-DAY SCHOOL CAMPING

Here are some snapshots from the two-day school camping activity of the LNNHS Boy Scouts of the Philippines, together with our Senior Scouts, adult leaders, and guests who shared their time, effort, and knowledge to make this activity a success.

A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this camping activity meaningful and memorable for our scouts. Your support and dedication made this experience both enjoyable and full of learning.

Special thanks to our fellow scouts from LAMESA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, under the guidance of Sir Jennifer Vasquez, for sharing their knowledge and skills with our scouts:

• Jaiclen N. Paradiang
• Jandie A. Manigos
• Maria Anghela P. Dinawanao
• John Robert Artes

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and guiding our scouts in bandaging, knot-tying, lashing, compass reading, Scout Law, basic commands, and marching. Your demonstrations and hands-on guidance helped our scouts develop practical skills, discipline, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the values of scouting. These lessons will surely be useful to them both in camp and in their everyday lives.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Mr. Joseph James S. Cadalso for facilitating the Pow Wow Session, which provided valuable lessons and insights for both our scouts and adult leaders.

The session covered important topics and activities, including:

⚜️ Senior Scout Leadership
⚜️ Discipline and Responsibility
⚜️ Patrol Flag: A Symbol of Unity and Responsibility
⚜️ BSP Matrix and Patrol Responsibilities
⚜️ Fancy Drill
⚜️ Reflection and Leadership Challenge

Thank you, Mr. Cadalso, for sharing your knowledge and experiences and for helping our scouts understand the importance of leadership, accountability, teamwork, and commitment to service. The lessons and challenges you shared will help guide them as they take on greater responsibilities within their patrols and the scouting community.

To all our scouts, congratulations on a job well done!

Your hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and willingness to learn made this activity worthwhile. May the experiences you gained, the challenges you faced, and the sacrifices you made help you grow into more responsible, disciplined, and dependable leaders.

Always carry with you the values of scouting: service, respect, preparedness, and helping others whenever you can. May you continue to lead by example, work together as one, and put into practice the lessons you have learned.

Keep learning, keep serving, and keep the spirit of scouting alive!

⚜️ Once a Scout, always a Scout!

The day started early with our athletes competing in athletics and continued with different sporting events throughout the day. As the afternoon came, our cultural performers took the stage and once again showed the talent, confidence, and dedication of our Nortehanons.

From the playing fields to the stage, it was a day filled with excitement, pressure, cheers, and, most importantly, perseverance. Behind every medal and every recognition are hours of practice, early mornings, sacrifices, and people who never stopped believing in our students.

And yes, we have quite a long list of achievements! So, tighten your seats and let’s take a look at what our dear Nortehanons accomplished! 👏💚

The Municipal Sports & Cultural Meet 2026 officially kicked off with so much energy, excitement, and pride as the different teams from Asturias 1 and Asturias 2 came together for the opening program.

Among the many proud faces in the crowd were our very own athletes and performers from Looc Norte National High School, who marched together, cheered for one another, and proudly represented our school. Seeing them gathered in one place, wearing their colors and showing their pride, was truly a moment worth celebrating.

And of course, behind every athlete and performer are the people who continue to believe in them—our teachers, coaches, parents, school heads, and supporters who have been there every step of the way.

We are grateful for the support of our Public Schools District Supervisors, Mrs. Maria Lourdes G. Ybañez of Asturias 1 and Dr. Arlene D. Buot of Asturias 2, as well as our barangay officials, the Local Government Unit of Asturias, and all our stakeholders who helped make this opening program possible.

The day didn't end there. After the opening ceremonies, the first set of competitions began—and our Nortehanons already had something big to celebrate!

Congratulations to the Looc Norte NHS Cheer Dance Team, coached by Mr. Ivan T. Mandreza assisted by Miss Jessa F. Pacilan, and the Galaw Pilipinas-Inspired Hip Hop Performers, coached by Mr. Martillano A. Batiancila, assisted by Mr. Ian Angelo T. Lape, for both taking home the CHAMPION TITLE!

Tomorrow is another day, another challenge, and another opportunity for our Nortehanon athletes and performers to show what they can do.

Keep going, Nortehanons! Play with heart, perform with confidence, and give it your all. Whatever the result, every step you take, every effort you give, and every experience you gain is already something to be proud of.

Padayon, Nortehanons! We’re cheering for you all the way! 💙🏆

Looc Norte National High School joined the Opening Ceremony of the Asturias 1 District Sports and Cultural Meet as the different schools in the district gathered for a week of sports, cultural performances, and friendly competition.

The day started with a parade from the Asturias Auditorium to Asturias Central Elementary School, where the different delegations marched together with their athletes, cultural performers, coaches, and teachers.

LNNHS came with a big delegation composed of 75 cultural performers with 8 coaches and 2 assistant coaches, and 168 athletes with 31 coaches and 8 assistant coaches.

Leading the delegation were the school's official Mr. and Miss DepEd Asturias candidates, Mr. Mark Josua S. Ouano and Miss Anica Jhewara N. Bandoy, who carried the school banner during the parade.

The parade was filled with cheers and loud yells from the different schools. Despite the long walk, everyone continued to show their energy and excitement as they made their way to the venue.

During the opening program, each school was given the chance to present their yell. LNNHS once again made its presence felt with its loud and energetic presentation, joined by the athletes and cultural performers with their hand props.

Before the presentation, School Principal Mrs. Reselyn J. Fernandez introduced the LNNHS delegation to the crowd, followed by the much-awaited school yell.

A special thanks to the people behind the LNNHS yell:

The opening day ended with smiles, pictures, a few more laughs, and, of course, plenty of memories to keep before the real competition begins.

Now, it's time to give our best in every game and every performance. One team, one goal, and one proud LNNHS delegation.

Good luck to all our athletes and cultural performers!

Padayon, Nortenians! Let’s do this!
