STRENGTHENING BARANGAY SERVICE, HONORING DEDICATED SERVICE

Today, August 28, 2026, the Barangay Secretaries of the Municipality of Baao gathered at the San Ramon Barangay Hall, San Ramon, Baao, Camarines Sur for their monthly meeting and coordination activity.

The meeting served as an avenue to discuss important updates, reminders, and matters concerning the effective and efficient delivery of barangay services. LGOO VI Ana Dominique B. Gapayao, DILG Baao Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO), led the discussion and emphasized the importance of timely, accurate, and consistent compliance with the monthly reports required from the barangays.

Beyond reports, deadlines, and administrative responsibilities, the DILG Baao Office also recognizes the people behind the work, the Barangay Secretaries who tirelessly keep their respective barangay offices running, records in order, documents prepared, and essential reports accomplished.

Thus, the meeting was capped with an Awarding Ceremony, a simple yet meaningful gesture of appreciation for their dedication, perseverance, and invaluable contribution to effective barangay governance.

Because behind every well organized barangay office is a Barangay Secretary who makes sure that the work gets done.

To all our Barangay Secretaries, thank you for your commitment to public service. Your work may often happen behind the scenes, but your dedication makes a difference every single day.

The DILG Memorandum Circular on Safer School Zones (SSZ) calls on all LGUs, partners, and communities to work together in protecting our learners by ensuring safe, secure, and child-friendly environments in and around our schools.

STAYING ALIGNED FOR EXCELLENCE: BARANGAY SECRETARIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAAO GATHERED FOR THEIR JULY MONTHLY MEETING

Driving the heartbeat of responsive local governance from the grassroots up, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Baao successfully facilitated today’s pivotal assembly of municipal barangay secretaries at the Pugay Barangay Hall on July 30, 2026.

The productive session brought together the dedicated administrative frontliners from the 30 barangays of Baao to align on vital report compliance updates and strategic directives delivered directly by the Baao MLGOO, LGOO VI Ana Dominique B. Gapayao.

A proud highlight of the gathering was the awarding ceremony for the Mid-Year Exemplary Service Awards, honoring the consistent hard work and dedication of the barangays for the 1st and 2nd Quarters of 2026. The awards are as follows:
