The ATI Davao Region is looking for interested applicants for the
𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 (𝐘𝐈𝐏𝐎𝐀) 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝟓!
YIPOA is a 21-month internship program composed of (a) a 9-month on-farm internship with a farm partner, and (b) a 12-month enterprise implementation phase. It is a collaborative program of the Department of Agriculture (DA) – National Organic Agriculture Program (DA-NOAP) and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI).
𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒
Applicants must:
1. Be a natural-born Filipino citizen, male or female, aged 18–35 at the time of application.
2. Be interested in entering the agriculture industry, particularly organic agriculture.
3. Be willing to commit to the 21-month internship and hands-on practice contract.
4. Be physically and mentally fit.
5. Have no outstanding obligations to the DA or ATI at the time of application.
6. Possess good community standing and moral character.
7. Be either an out-of-school youth or a college graduate.

Cassava planting materials are now available and ready for distribution for interested farmers registered in the RSBSA.

Farmers are encouraged to plant as early as possible while the rains are still coming. Early planting will allow the cassava to establish and develop strong roots before the expected El Niño conditions this November.

🌱 Cassava is a drought-tolerant crop—plant now while soil moisture is still sufficient!
