For the 4th consecutive Zumba Dance Exercise Competition, the Green Ta**us Stellar Bulls once again dominated the dance floor and proudly claimed the 50-point score, showcasing unmatched energy, teamwork, and school spirit.

The Schools Division Office of Island Garden City of Samal (SDO IGaCoS) takes pride in Limao Elementary School as it conducts its second CPD-accredited training, “Beyond Academics: Building Social-Emotional Competence for Teacher Excellence and Holistic Learner Success,” on September 11–12 and 14, 2026.

The training provided teachers with meaningful opportunities to learn more about social-emotional competence, teacher well-being, positive relationships, and supportive learning environments, strengthening their capacity to respond to the needs of every pupil.

With 12 approved PRC CPD Units, Limao ES continues to value professional learning as an important part of improving teaching practice and learner support.

This initiative highlights the power of collective action in protecting our coastal and marine ecosystems for present and future generations.

With energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork on full display, a total of 275 Green Ta**us Stellar Bulls proudly participated in the 3rd Zumba Dance Exercise Competition as part of SAMALYMPICS 2026.

Together, we danced, moved, and celebrated wellness and camaraderie.

𝗦𝗗𝗢 𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗦 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦, 𝗘𝗣𝗦𝘀 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝗨𝗣 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝟯-𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗨𝗣𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚

The Schools Division Office of the Island Garden City of Samal successfully conducted the Division Upskilling of School Heads and Education Program Supervisors on Research on September 16, 17, and 19, 2026, at the PHRDC, Brgy. Catagman, Samal District, IGACOS.

The activity was spearheaded by Schools Division Superintendent Emma A. Camporedondo, CESO VI, together with Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Gay P. Taguiran, CESO VI, SGOD Chief Jay C. Nang, CID Chief Allan D. Balisbis, and SGOD EPS/Division Research Coordinator Graciela A. Robles, aiming to strengthen the culture of research-based leadership and management in the Division.

Serving as resource speakers were Regional PPRD EPS Jomar A. Cuyos, EPS-Science Eric A. Bordios, and SGOD EPS Graciela A. Robles, who equipped the participants with essential knowledge and skills on crafting relevant and responsive educational research. Through insightful discussions and hands-on activities, the upskilling empowered school leaders and supervisors to become catalysts of innovation and evidence-based decision-making for the benefit of Samal learners.
