Statistical Analyst Rosendo Alva, of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recently supervised the 2025 Household Survey on Domestic Visitors (HSDV).

The Philippine Statistics Authority is currently conducting the 2025 Household Survey on Domestic Visitors from 04 to 26 May 2026, including Saturdays and holidays, with a reference period covering January to December 2025. The survey aims to gather information on the profile and socio-economic characteristics of domestic visitors, as well as details of their travels within the Philippines and abroad.

Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Negros Occidental conducts the 2025 Household Survey on Domestic Visitors from 04 to 26 May 2026.

The 2025 Household Survey on Domestic Visitors (HSDV) is implemented nationwide by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in collaboration with the Department of Tourism (DOT), under a Memorandum of Agreement approved in December 2025.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office is currently participating in the LGUs of Cadiz City, Cauayan, and Hinoba-an for their Set 14 Beneficiaries Validation from 06-08 May 2026, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) team. This initiative helps ensure that eligible households are correctly identified and assessed for the program.

This collaborative effort between PSA and DSWD underscores the importance of unified systems in improving public service delivery and promoting inclusive development. The activitiy further reinforces the government's commitment to ensure every Filipino is recognized, counted, and served.

CBMS Team of PSO Negros Occidental are conducting verification for identified beneficiaries, ensuring that all gathered information was up to date, factual, and consistent with existing records. This process bolsters the reliability of the validation results.

The Philippine Statistics Authority-Negros Island Region turns over the CBMS Data to Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson today.

Strengthening the partnership between the newly established Negros Island Region and the local government, PSA RSSO NIR Regional Director John F. Campomanes recently paid a courtesy call to Bacolod City Mayor, Hon. Greg G. Gasataya. Joined by Supervising Statistical Specialist Diesah Biaoco and Statistical Analysts Anna Carmela Gamilla and Aira Camille E. de la Banda, the visit served as a formal introduction of the new management team following the regional transition.

Furthermore, the team and the Mayor discussed potential collaborations regarding a new office location to better serve the public. This engagement underscores a shared commitment to providing efficient, accessible, and data-driven public service to all Bacolodnons under the NIR transition.
