As we continue to honor the silent heroes of community health, the DILG Bacolod City proudly introduces our second finalist—a woman whose compassion and commitment nourished not just children, but an entire community.

Barangay Estefania stands as a model of proactive governance in maintaining peace and order. Through strengthened initiatives and coordinated efforts, the barangay continues to address key challenges and ensure the safety of its residents.

At the forefront of these efforts is Reyna Tegallo, whose work supports a system where Barangay Tanods actively protect and preserve harmony. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗕𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗖) for documentation and coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the community is better equipped to respond to threats.

Enhanced patrol operations have also led to the apprehension of offenders and recovery of lost items, contributing to reduced crime rates and a stronger sense of security among residents.

Beyond enforcement, these efforts have fostered greater community engagement, improved well-being, and more responsive emergency action—hallmarks of a truly resilient barangay.
