Ipinaaabot ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa publiko ang schedule ng operasyon ng ahensya ngayong holiday season, alinsunod sa mga opisyal na holiday at kaukulang anunsyo ng pamahalaan.

Pinaaalalahanan din ang lahat na maging maingat sa pagbiyahe ngayong holiday season. Siguraduhing maayos ang kondisyon ng inyong sasakyan at sundin ang mga batas trapiko upang maiwasan ang aksidente sa daan.

Pursuant to EO No. 74-A, work in government offices in Bacolod City is hereby suspended today, November 25, 2025, due to Red Alert status of Bacolod City and TCWS #1 brought about by Tropical Depression Verbena.

However, government offices offering basic, vital and health services, preparedness and response duties must continue to operate to ensure continued essential government functions.

The suspension of work in private companies and offices is highly encouraged and left to the discretion of their respective heads.

Ngayong Ber months, dumarami ang mga kaso ng panloloko at online scams. Kaugnay nito, muling nagbabala ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa publiko, lalo na sa mga motorista, na maging maingat at huwag magpapaloko sa mga indibidwal o grupo na ginagamit ang pangalan ng ahensya upang mangikil ng pera.

Isa sa mga kumakalat na text scam ay may mensaheng ganito:

“You have an unsettled violation under RA 10913 - Using Mobile Phone While Driving. Fine: P1,000 due within 24 hours. Failure to settle may result in additional penalties, license suspension, or alarm block.”

Kasama sa mensaheng ito ang isang link na, kapag binuksan, ay nagdadala sa isang pekeng website na humihingi ng inyong mga personal na impormasyon at pagbabayad sa pamamagitan ng GCash QR code na nakadirekta sa account ng scammer.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools in Bacolod City are suspended today, October 1, 2025, as recommended by the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (DRRMC) following the Intensity V earthquake felt in the city last night as reported by PHIVOLCS. Schools are encouraged to shift to synchronous and alternative modes of online learning.

Work in government offices is likewise suspended. However, offices providing basic, vital, and health services, as well as those performing preparedness and response functions, shall continue to operate to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential government services.

Private establishments and offices are strongly encouraged to conduct Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis to safeguard the safety and welfare of their employees.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 96 issued by the Office of the President, the Land Transportation Office — Western Visayas (LTO-6), including its district and extension offices and the Driver’s License Renewal Offices, will suspend official work starting 1:00 P.M. TODAY, 22 September 2025 in observance of “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

The half-day suspension is intended to allow LTO-6 personnel to spend quality time with their families in the spirit of the occasion.

All offices are requested to make the necessary arrangements to ensure the continuity of essential services and to inform stakeholders and the public accordingly.
