The visit served as an opportunity to formally welcome and express their support for his leadership as he assumes his role at the helm of the provincial office.
The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration, unity, and teamwork in advancing the Bureauโs programs and initiatives. Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with the Provincial Office in strengthening fire safety services, enhancing operational readiness, and ensuring the continued delivery of responsive and effective public service to the communities of Negros Occidental.

๐๐ข๐ข๐ | Following the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, FSUPT RODEL T LEGASPI, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, presided over his first conference meeting with BFP Negros Occidental personnel upon his return to the province. The meeting provided an avenue to discuss various operational and administrative issues and concerns, assess current challenges, and identify ways forward to further strengthen the delivery of fire and emergency services.
During the meeting, FSUPT LEGASPI reiterated the importance of public service and reminded personnel to remain committed to the Bureauโs mandate of protecting lives and property. He likewise emphasized the values of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork, encouraging everyone to work together in addressing organizational concerns and advancing the goals of BFP Negros Occidental.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal - Negros Occidental led by FSUPT RODEL T LEGASPI, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, commenced the week with the conduct of its Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, bringing together personnel in a reaffirmation of their commitment to public service and organizational goals.
In his message, FSUPT LEGASPI emphasized the value of dedication to work, reminding personnel that public service requires commitment, discipline, and a willingness to make sacrifices in the performance of duty. He encouraged everyone to remain steadfast in carrying out their responsibilities and to continue striving for excellence in the delivery of fire and emergency services to the people of Negros Occidental.

Under the leadership of FSUPT PUBLIO D PLOTEรA, DSC, Caretaker, personnel from the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal โ Negros Occidental successfully completed the five-day Management of the Dead and Missing Persons Coaches Training held at Mambukal Mountain Resort, Murcia, Negros Occidental from May 18โ22, 2026.
Representing the province were SFO2 Genevieve C Pecha and FO3 Cathyrine D Valdez, who actively participated in the specialized training organized by the PDRRMO Negros Occidental.
The program aimed to enhance the participantsโ competencies in the proper, dignified, and humanitarian handling of dead and missing persons during emergencies and disaster incidents, while further strengthening the operational readiness and leadership capabilities of BFP personnel.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal - Negros Occidental, led by FSUPT PUBLIO D PLOTEรA, DSC, Caretaker, received FINSP MARLOU F ABRENICA, Incoming Acting City Fire Marshal of Kabankalan City Fire Station, and FO2 Bonieger B Acaso during their courtesy call.
Both personnel were reassigned from Canlaon City Fire Station, Province of Negros Oriental and will now be serving at Kabankalan City Fire Station.
The organization warmly welcomes them and looks forward to their continued dedication and commitment in delivering quality public service.
