"Four-Day Work Week Arrangement"
The Philippine Coconut Authority Region VI (PCA-VI) informs all clients, partners, coconut farmers, and stakeholders that the office will implement a Four-Day Work Week Scheme effective March 11, 2026.
This initiative is in compliance with the Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 and supports the government’s efforts to promote operational efficiency and energy conservation.
Office Schedule for Transactions:
Monday to Thursday (On-site transactions)
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday (Remote work only)
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
No on-site office transactions
Clients are encouraged to schedule office visits from Monday to Thursday.
❗️The Psychometric Examination on March 13, 2026 (Friday) will proceed as scheduled.

𝙋𝘾𝘼 𝙉𝙀𝙂𝙍𝙊𝙎 𝙊𝘾𝘾𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙇 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍-𝙀𝙉𝘿 𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙎𝙎𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏
The PCA Negros Occidental conducted the 2025-year end assessment at Dos Hermanos Farm and Association, Brgy. Purisima, Manapla. This activity is to assess the CY 2025 accomplishment of programs and projects in the province including the CFIDP and GAA. Likewise, to safeguard the completion and setting of remaining targets for CY 2026.
Attended by PCA personnel headed by Engr. Jean A. Alisna, Division Chief I, graced by the presence of esteemed Hon. Nerylynn T. Lim, SB Member, Municipality of Manapla, Mr. Jose Gerardo G. Francisco, III, Farm owner and Atty. Elias A. Gatanela. The event was attended by farm workers and their families.
The activity was successful and achieved its purpose. CY 2026 will be more efficient towards the implementation of PCA directives for furtherance of coconut industry.

About One (1) thousand NCFRS- registered and CFIDP-eligible coconut farmers and their families from the Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) of the Municipalities of Calatrava, Toboso and City of Sagay in Negros Occidental. They availed the free medical services under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) Health and Medical Program. Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Regional and Provincial office led the said event last November 20-22, 2025, at Brgy. Bantayanon, Calatrava, Brgy. Bug-ang, Toboso and Poblacion, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
This program aimed to bring the Medical Health Services closer to our coconut farmers and their families, for a resilient, progressive and healthier community.
The activity was supported by Hon. Marilyn A. Era, Municipal Mayor of Calatrava, Hon. Richard M. Jaojoco, Municipal Mayor of Toboso, Hon. Leo Rafael M. Cueva, City Mayor of Sagay, along with the Municipal/ City Health Unit, Office of the Municipal/ City Agriculturist, Local Government Unit and Barangay Officials of the Three (3) areas. The Philippine Crop Insurance Company (PCIC) and PhilHealth are the 2 of the 15 implementing agencies who also extended their services to the coconut farmer beneficiaries during the program.

𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 (𝐂𝐅𝐁𝐖)
The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) turn-over the Composting Facility for Biodegradable Waste (CFBW) to Toboso Small Coconut Farmers Organization of Brgy. General Luna, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
The said facility is under the Coconut Fertilization Project (CFP) of the agency, which aims to promote farm sustainability by utilizing and recycling agricultural waste products to produce organic compost fertilizer for coconut and high-value crops in support of the Department of Agriculture’s campaign for food security.
A technology demonstration is also conducted by Mariñas Tech, Inc., the supplier of the said facility.
Present during the activity by Hon. Fe Caballero, Brgy. Chairperson of Brgy. General Luna, Toboso, Mr. April John G. Barrida and Ann Maridel C. Barrida of PCA-NOC, along with the representatives from Mariñas Tech. Inc. and stakeholders of Toboso SCFO.
