đź’» BACOLOD CITY PROCUREMENT SYSTEM: PILOT TESTING UNDERWAY!
The Management Information Technology and Computer Services, in partnership with the Bids and Awards Committee, and Fortis Group, recently conducted the Pilot Testing of the Bacolod City Procurement System together with key pilot departments of the Bacolod City Government.
Participating offices include the City Mayor’s Office, City Administrator’s Office, City Budget Office, City Treasurer’s Office, Office of the City Accountant, and General Services Office.
The pilot testing provides an opportunity for the participating offices to simulate actual procurement processes, test the system’s features and workflows, and provide valuable feedback to help ensure that the system is efficient, user-friendly, secure, and responsive to the needs of its end users.
This initiative is part of the City Government’s continuing efforts to streamline processes, strengthen transparency, and advance digital transformation in local government services.
📢 NEXT UP: END-USER TRAINING!
Following the pilot testing, End-User Training sessions are scheduled next to familiarize users with the system, its processes, and the proper use of its various features and functions.
Together, MITCS and BAC, with the participating offices, are taking another step toward a faster, more efficient, and digitally enabled procurement process for the City of Bacolod. 🧡
