The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office led by PCOL LEO B PAMITTAN, Provincial Director held its Flag Raising Ceremony at NOCPPO Grandstand, Camp Alfredo M Montelibano Sr., Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City on February 27, 2023.

PCOL PAMITTAN, in his message, commended the NOCPPO Personnel for the relentless effort in making the Unit to be on top for almost 12 consecutive months in the PRO6 Unit Performance Evaluation Rating.

Two Policemen of San Enrique MPS were praised by their bravery yesterday,February 23, 2023 on a Fire Incident that occurred at a roast chicken stall in Bangga Patyo, Barangay Pobacion, San Enrique, Negros Occidental.

While on their beat, Policemen named PSSg Eddie B Mondoy III and PCpl Wilmer C Dipolog saw the incident then promptly took the Fire Extinguisher from a nearby Pawnshop and courageously entered to put out the fire.

The tenants were very grateful of what Policemen did.

Seventy Five (75) cops graduated the SWAT Training. They were presented with certificates and were pinned with SWAT Badge after completing a grueling three-month training held at Brgy. E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

PRO6 third man, PCOL ARNOLD THOMAS C IBAY, Deputy Regional Director for Operations spearheaded the closing ceremony on February 21, 2023 at NOCPPO Camp.

Chiefs of Police, Local Government Heads, Public Officials, Stakeholders and loved ones of participants gathered to witness the completion ceremony. The successful graduates were from NOCPPO Police Stations, Bacolod City Police Office, Anti-Kidnapping Group, Capiz Police Provincial Office and Guimaras PPO.

PCOL IBAY in his message, thanked the training staff and especially the Local Chief Executives who relentlessly supported Policemen and a key to this endeavor making into reality.

Present on the said activity were PCOL LEO B PAMITTAN, NOCPPO Provincial Director, PMAJ ROMEO MALLARI, RLRDD PRO6, PLTCOL NASRUDDIN D TAYUAN, Asst. Chief, RSTU6 and PLTCOL JOEFFER CABURAL of Bacolod City Police Office representing PCOL THOMAS JOSEPH MARTIR, City Director.

On February 20, 2023 a High Value Individual was arrested in a Drug Bust Operation at Luzuriaga Street, Brgy. 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The suspect was identified as Mark John Quijano y Reponte, 23, Jobless and a resident of Ylagan St., Brgy. VI on the said city.

In an Interview, San Carlos CCPS Police Chief PLTCOL JESUS MESAHON thanked the community for their active cooperation and the Local Government of San Carlos for their support that led to a successful operation against above named suspect.

Yesterday, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office led by PCOL LEO B PAMITTAN, Provincial Director held its Monday Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremony together with the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Mrs. Ma. Chona Villaluna Gosiaoco, Chairman, Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas Negros Occidental Chapter at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr., Brgy Estefania, Bacolod City, February 20, 2023.

On the said activity, Mrs. Gosiaoco together with PCOL PAMITTAN, Provincial Director, PLTCOL WILFREDO R ABORDO, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration, PLTCOL JAY F MALONG, Deputy Provincial Director for Operation spearheaded the awarding of certificates to the deserving PNP personnel and media partners.

Three (3) PNP personnel were awarded certificates of recognition for being Masters of Ceremonies during Social and Formal Occasions in NOCPPO. Awardees were PSSg Jayrah L Gamongan, PSSg Art Evan A Margallo and PSSg Saychelle O De Jose.

NOCPPO Public Information Office received three (3) awards as the Host/Anchor of “NOCPPO sa Radyo”, “NOCPPO in Aksyon” and “NOCPPO KaTropa Mo”, the Unit’s information operation programs against insurgency, illegal drugs and other criminalities held every Sunday at different radio stations and time slots. The awards were received by PCPT JUDESSES G CATALOGO, Chief PIO.

Further, XFM Bacolod, Radyo Bandera Bacolod and Aksyon Radyo Bacolod were also awarded certificates of appreciation for their unwavering commitment and continued support and collaboration with NOCPPO. The awards were received by Ms. Kayla Arribas, Mr. El John Castano and Ms. Eden Aboso respectively.

Mrs. Gosiaco, in her speech, said that she is hoping for a strengthened partnership in information education campaign to foster a culture of knowledge dissemination through appropriate channels of communication.

"The Philippines has kept its top tier status in the US State Department Trafficking IN Persons (TIP) report for seven consecutive years and we, in the PNP, shall continue to demonstrate serious and sustained efforts to ensure that our country surpass the standards in eliminating trafficking in persons"
