A gimper, as Dr. Richard Seume explained it, is someone who always does a little more that what's required or expected. (pg. 9, Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson), Dr. Seume took his text from 1 Corinthians 4:9 which says, "Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers".
