Today, we celebrate not just your birthday, but also the person you are and the heart you put into serving the people of Barangay 29.

Thank you for all your hard work, sacrifices, dedication, and the strength you show in leading our barangay. Being a leader is never easy, but you continue to stand firm, lead with purpose, and serve with a heart that remains humble despite the challenges and whatever life throws your way.

You are a true example of a “walk the talk” servant leader—someone who does not just speak of service but lives it through actions, commitment, and genuine concern for the people. I raised the concern with CHED regarding the Tulong Dunong Program payout because our students cannot afford further delays.

CHED explained that while the funds can be obligated, disbursement is delayed due to the lack of available cash from DBM.

I understand the process, but behind every delay is a student who may struggle to stay in school.

Kaya patuloy tayong nagtatanong at sumusunod. DBM, we need the funds released. CHED, let’s get the assistance to our students.

MassKara Festival 2026 Official Schedule Is Out!

The official calendar of events for MassKara Festival 2026 has been released, giving Bacolodnons and visitors a first look at the exciting activities lined up for this year’s celebration.

From October 1 to 18, 2026, Bacolod City will come alive with cultural performances, music, arts, competitions, food, community activities, and entertainment across different venues in the city.

The festivities kick off on October 1 with the Opening of the Food Kiosk at the Bacolod City Government Center and the first MassKareppin Elimination at Ayala Malls Capitol Central.

Throughout the celebration, festivalgoers can look forward to activities such as the MassKara Job Fair, Mask Painting, Mask and Costume Display Competitions, Festival Costume Competition, Creative Bacolod Launching, MassKareppin, Ginanuman, MassKara Battle, Choreography Showdown, PetsKara, Drum and Lyre Corps Competition, and many more.

Major highlights include the MassKareyna Talent and Festival Costume Competition, SingKara, MassKareyna Coronation Night, Bombo Battle of the Bands, K5 League of Champions Season 5, and other crowd-favorite activities.

The much-awaited Streetdance and Arena Competitions will take center stage on October 17 and 18, featuring school and barangay contingents showcasing Bacolod’s signature energy, artistry, and MassKara spirit.

The Lacson Tourism Strip, presented by NEPC, will also run from October 16 to 18, transforming Lacson Street into a vibrant stretch of attractions, entertainment, food, and festival experiences.

Other activities connected to the MassKara season, including the MassKara Media Night on October 19 and Mega Black Party on October 25, are likewise included in the released calendar.

With the official schedule now out, Bacolod is ready to welcome another colorful season filled with smiles, creativity, culture, and community.

Bukas na ang aplikasyon! Ang programa ginahiwat kada Sabado sa sulod sang 10 ka semana sa STIWNU Campus, Bacolod City.

✅ Maximum nga 10 ka slots kada sports.
🏀 Basketball: edad 10 hasta 15
⚽ Football: edad 10 hasta 15
♟️ Chess: mga nagasugod (beginner/novice), edad 7 hasta 12
