Knowledge for Peace: Distribution of ELCAC Flyers
Distribution of ELCAC flyers in the community led by JO1 Nikki Amparo and JO1 Angelo Jesryl Panganiban, Unit CRS Officers, plays a vital role in promoting awareness, understanding, and active participation among residents.
Through these materials, people are informed about government programs, peace initiatives, and development opportunities that directly impact their lives. It helps combat misinformation by providing accurate and reliable information, while also strengthening trust and transparency between the community and authorities.
More importantly, it empowers individuals especially the youth by educating them on the risks of armed conflict and encouraging them to take part in building a safer and more progressive society.
By ensuring that information reaches even those without access to digital platforms, flyer distribution becomes a simple yet powerful tool in fostering unity, resilience, and lasting peace within the community.

Rebuilding Lives Through Compassion and Counseling
Empowerment begins with a safe space to be heard, understood, and valued. Todayās counseling activity for our female Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) conducted by JO2 Grace Leones, Unit Mental Health Officer, served as a meaningful step toward healing, self-discovery, and inner strength.
Through open dialogue and guided support, female PDLs were given the opportunity to process their experiences, rebuild self-worth, and develop healthier coping mechanisms reminding them that their past does not define their future.
Activities like this are vital in fostering emotional well-being, reducing stress, and nurturing resilience, ultimately helping them prepare for reintegration into society with renewed confidence and hope.
May this moment of connection and compassion continue to inspire growth, because every woman deserves the chance to rise, heal, and begin again with dignity in her heart.

Black Saturday reminds us of the silence between sacrifice and victory.
It commemorates the day when Jesus Christ lay in the tombāafter His suffering and death on Good Friday, and before the joy of His resurrection on Easter Sunday. It is a time of waiting, reflection, and quiet faith.
Though it may seem like a day of sorrow and stillness, it teaches us a powerful truth: even in the darkest moments, hope is not lost. God is still at work, even in silence.
We observe Black Saturday not with celebration, but with deep reflectionābecause it prepares our hearts for the promise of new life, renewal, and victory over death.
