On February 10, 2026, the four-day S.E.A.L. B.E.G.I.N. (Small Enterprise Acceleration Lab - Business Education and Growth Initiative for Nano-entrepreneurs) program officially commenced at Gawaran Hall, 3rd Floor, Bacoor City Hall.

The initiative brought together key partners including DTI Cavite, PTTC-GMEA, BPI Foundation, BPI BanKo, and the Bacoor City LGU, to support nano-entrepreneurs in Cavite. Welcome remarks were delivered by Ms. Carmelita Gawaran, followed by keynote messages from Ms. Lilibeth Chavez (DTI Cavite), Mr. Gero Torres (BPI Foundation), Mr. Prax Carpio (PTTC), and Mr. Matt Peter Domingo (BPI Banko–Imus), highlighting entrepreneurship, financial literacy, innovation, and collaboration.

Day 1, led by Mr. Ruben Lanot, covered entrepreneurial mindset, business planning, marketing, digitalization, and brand building—equipping participants with tools to build sustainable and competitive businesses.

The first day laid a solid foundation for the succeeding sessions of the S.E.A.L. B.E.G.I.N. program, inspiring participants to take proactive steps toward building sustainable and competitive businesses.

In line with Proclamation No. 711, s. 1996, DTI Cavite joins the observance of the 30th Autism Consciousness Week, held every third week of January, and supports the nationwide call to promote awareness, acceptance, and meaningful action for persons with autism.
With this year’s theme, “Mula Kamalayan Tungo sa Gawa: Pag-unlad ng Autism-OK Philippines,” we reaffirm our commitment to inclusive growth and equal opportunities for all.

DTI Cavite reminds Service and Repair Shop Enterprises (SREs) in the Province of Cavite to apply for RENEWAL of their accreditation for 2026 until January 31, 2026 to avoid surcharge or penalty.
Presidential Decree No. 1572 series of 1978 and related laws requires NEW and EXISTING SREs to obtain accreditation from DTI before operating their shops.

KMME Online aims to help micro and small entrepreneurs scale up their businesses through weekly coaching and mentoring by business owners and practitioners on different functional areas of entrepreneurship.
Mentee Criteria:
1. At least 18 years of age
2. Must be a Filipino and resident of the Philippines
3. Must be the owner or co-owner of and/or partner of a business operating in Cavite
4. Business is registered (with documentation)
5. Business is operating for at least one year
6. Has employee/s and/or manages a team
7. Willing to attend sessions on specified schedules
8. Willing to enter into a Contract of Commitment
9. Three references who can vouch for your business
10. Must have a laptop/mobile device, strong internet connectivity, and a headset.
11. Must have a personal email and Facebook accounts.
📍Schedule:
Batch 1 (Multi-sectoral) - March to June 2026
📍Sessions will be twice a week via Zoom (Tuesday and Thursday)
📍Application for Batch 1 is open until January 31, 2026.
