BCJMD Opens New Tech4ED Center, Expanding Digital Literacy and Future-Ready Opportunities for PDLs
Under the visionary leadership of our City Jail Warden, JSUPT CHRISTOPHER R PENILLA, PhD, CESE, we are proud to announce the official launching of the BJMP-CJMD Tech4ED Center!
This milestone marks a significant step forward in our commitment to the reformation and holistic development of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). The new center features a dedicated learning area equipped with 8 desktop computers and 3 laptops, all set to empower our residents on their digital literacy journey.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the individuals and organizations who made this vision a reality: Engr. Kenneth Benedicto, Philip Tan & Adrian Barrera of Department of Information and Communication Technology - Cavite Province, Ms. Michelle San Gabriel of the Bacoor Computer Center and Fr. Emmanuel, for leading the blessing of this facility.
By providing access to modern technology, we are not just teaching skills; we are opening doors to new opportunities and a brighter future of our PDLs.

IT SKILLS TRAININGS CODUCTED BY UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP SYSTEM DALTA - MOLINO CAMPUS COLLEGE OF COMPUTER STUDIES
We are proud to announce that a total of 30 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) have benefited from a series of impactful IT skills training sessions organized by the UPHSD Molino Campus College of Computer Studies during the 1st quarter of 2025:
📅 February 5 - Canva for Business Design
Empowering participants to create stunning designs for business use.
📅 February 26 - Microsoft PowerPoint for Video and Animation Production
Enhancing skills in creating dynamic and engaging presentations with multimedia elements.
📅 March 19 - Web Design Using Google Sites
Introducing the fundamentals of building a professional website with Google Sites.
These training sessions reflect our commitment to providing valuable skills that help build brighter futures.

MOA SIGNING WITH DICT REGION IVA AND LAUNCHING OF THE BACOOR CITY JAIL TECH4ED CENTER
On November 22, 2024, a ceremonial MOA signing between DICT Region IV-A represented by Ms. Mary Ann O. Lacson and Bacoor City Jail – MD represented by JSUPT CHRISTOPHER R PENILLA was held at the Main Conference Room of this jail unit, followed by the ribbon-cutting of the Bacoor City Jail – MD Tech4ED Center at the Mini Revilla Center.
Said activity was attended by Congresswoman Lani Mercado – Revilla, representatives from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Cavite, Bacoor Computer Center, Cavite State University – Bacoor Campus, and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA – Molino Campus.
