Joining the District Jail Warden were JINSP REI JOHN I LUNTOK, Assistant Jail Warden, and JINSP ABERLARDO A LIM, JR., Chief Administrative Officer, in honoring the sacrifices, courage, and patriotism of the Filipino heroes whose unwavering dedication paved the way for the nation's freedom and sovereignty.

The observance of Independence Day serves as a reminder of the enduring values of unity, nationalism, and public service. Through this participation, the BJMP NODJ-MD reaffirms our commitment to upholding these ideals and to continuously serving the Filipino people with integrity, accountability, and excellence.

In support of environmental conservation and sustainable coastal resource management, personnel of the Negros Occidental District Jail – Male Dormitory, under the leadership of JSUPT ATTY. CRISYREL P. AWE, DSC, District Jail Warden, actively participated in the 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑶𝒄𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏-𝒖𝒑 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 held in Bago City and spearheaded by the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (CEMO), City Government of Bago.

The activity brought together representatives from various Local Government Unit departments, National Government Agencies, Educational institutions, Non-Governmental Organizations, and the BJMP Negros Occidental District Jail – Female Dormitory, demonstrating a unified commitment to environmental protection and community development. This meaningful activity highlights the collective responsibility of every sector in protecting and preserving our coastal and marine ecosystems. Through mangrove planting and coastal clean-up efforts, participants contributed to environmental conservation, disaster risk reduction, biodiversity protection, and the promotion of a cleaner and healthier community.

The BJMP NODJ-MD remains steadfast in supporting environmental initiatives that foster community engagement, sustainability, and stewardship of natural resources for future generations.

Under the leadership of JSUPT ATTY. CRISYREL P. AWE, DSC, District Jail Warden, the Negros Occidental District Jail – Male Dormitory proudly witnessed the baptism of newly converted Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) into the Seventh-day Adventist faith.

This meaningful spiritual milestone symbolizes renewal, repentance, and a commitment to a transformed life guided by faith and moral values. Through religious and spiritual interventions, PDLs are given the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with God, foster self-discipline, and develop a renewed sense of purpose despite the challenges of incarceration.

The event highlights the importance of faith-based programs in the rehabilitation process, nurturing hope, positive behavioral change, and spiritual growth among PDLs. It serves as a reminder that every individual deserves a chance for redemption and a brighter future.

𝗔𝗪𝗘, District Jail Warden, joined the faculty, staff, and stakeholders of I. Makilan Elementary School in preparing the school for the upcoming academic year.

As part of its commitment to community engagement and public service, the jail personnel donated cleaning materials to help maintain a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for students and educators alike.

This meaningful collaboration highlights the importance of unity and shared responsibility in promoting quality education. For the school, the support received enhances its readiness to welcome learners and fosters a culture of community involvement.
