The Schools Division Office of Bago City successfully concluded the four-day Division Training on the Revised Grades 6, 9, and 10 Curriculum today, May 28, 2026.
The final day featured Learning Delivery Simulations and Peer Critiquing Sessions conducted at Ramon Torres National High School, DITC, Library Hub, and MYTMCC VIP Room. Teacher-demonstrators showcased learner-centered teaching strategies aligned with the new DepEd 3-Term Curriculum Implementation.
Master teachers, Education Program Supervisors, and the Program Management Team also facilitated feedback and evaluation sessions to ensure the quality of lesson exemplars across learning areas.
Under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, the training equipped 514 participants with strengthened instructional competencies in preparation for the revised curriculum rollout.

The Bago City delegation joined thousands of athletes during the grand opening on May 24 at the Democrito O. Plaza Sports Complex in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, after arriving at the NIR billeting quarters in Bayugan City.
Flying the banner for Bago City are Dennes Maguad and Khal Allen Ecija for Athletics; boxers Edren Cauntoy and John Michael Jeruta, and softball players Nice Lobrido and Danila Bejos.
Leading and supporting the delegation are SDS Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, EdD, JD, CESO V; OIC-ASDS Dr. Arlene E. Yap, CESE; CID Chief Dr. Ma. Lourdes V. Teodoro; SGOD Chief Orlando Jr. G. Cezar; Division Sports Officer Leo Dayot (EPS), and Rommel Sornito, serving as both the PSDS and LSB Representative.
As the games continue until May 31, SDO Bago City rallies behind its athletes in their quest to bring home pride, glory, and honor for Bago City and the entire NIR.

Following yesterdayโs rigid curriculum deep dive and unpacking sessions, Day 3 is heavily focused on hands-on workshop developments, lesson planning, and peer simulations across all specialized subject areas.
Under the continuous leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, EdD, JD, CESO V, Day 3 is proving to be a decisive milestone. Following yesterdayโs foundational framework alignment, Day 2 shifts the momentum toward concrete instructional design, lesson planning, and specialized subject-area integration across multiple venues.
To ensure the high technical standard of the sessions, the 12 members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) are actively monitoring the delivery and technical workflows at each site, gathering real-time feedback to maintain an optimal training environment.

The Schools Division of Bago City is conducting the Training on the Revised Grades 6, 9, and 10 Curriculum from May 25โ28, 2026.
The activity gathers 514 participants trained by 89 facilitators across different subject areas and overseen by 12 members of the Technical Working Group across the Schools Division of Bago City. The training aims to strengthen understanding and implementation of the Enhanced Kinder to Grade 10 Curriculum, including the DepEd 3-Term Implementation.
Training sessions are being conducted at Ramon Torres National High School, Division Information Technology Center, Library Hub, and MYTMCC VIP Room. The activity is facilitated by School Heads, Master Teachers, and Head Teachers who were recently identified and trained by the Region.

Aligned with DepEd NIR Regional Memorandum No. 444, s. 2026, the activity focused on refining session guides, finalizing materials, and standardizing presentations to ensure quality implementation. Moving forward with its commitment to strengthen literacy intervention, the Schools Division Office of Bago City conducted an Orientation and Workshop Session on the Development of PowerPoint Presentations for Project ALPHABET Remediation Lessons today, May 21, 2026.
Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 226, s. 2026, the activity provided technical support to remediation facilitators and teachers. The session focused on standardizing guidelines for digital learning materials, aligning slides with Project ALPHABET's core literacy competencies, and utilizing engaging, interactive multi-media designs to enhance student learning outcomes.
Under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, EdD, JD, CESO V, the intensive workshop was spearheaded by Education Program Supervisor in English, Dr. Girlie A. In adherence to DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2022 (Adoption of the Basic Education Monitoring and Evaluation Framework), this strategic exercise spans all four quarters of 2026 to track the efficiency, physical accomplishments, and financial metrics of localized programs, projects, and activities (PPAs).
Led by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, EdD, JD, CESO V, the review is spearheaded by Maria Luz G. Cabarles, JD (SEPS-SMME) and Roxan del Castillo (EPS II-SMME). The assessment focuses on evaluating Key Performance Indicators, aligning outcomes with the Division Education Development Plan, and using the Bottlenecks, Lags, Issues, and Concerns (BLICs) mechanism to implement immediate policy and program adjustments for enhanced basic education delivery.

The Schools Division Office of Bago City officially launched Project MATUWA 2026 on May 18, 2026, an international collaboration aimed at strengthening ICT facilities and mobile learning initiatives in support of digital education.
Running until May 21, the initiative focuses on enhancing learning spaces and community resources through partnerships led by Project Director Soo Wee Han Henry and Vice Project Director Abigail Lim Xinhui, together with the Project MATUWA team, under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, EdD, JD, CESO V.
As part of its support for digital learning, the project turned over key resources including ICT cubicles, repainting of ICT walls, and the enhancement of the โRTANHS Project WOWโ mobile learning bus of Ramon Torres Atipuluan National High School.

๐๐๐๐๐. The Schools Division Office of Bago City, under the leadership of Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, EdD, JD, CESO V, officially served as the host for the Regional Training of Trainers (RTOT) on the Revised K to 12 Curriculum in Mathematics, held from May 11 to 15, 2026, at Palmas del Mar.
The five-day intensive training convened 249 education supervisors, specialists, and master teachers representing various school divisions across the newly unified Negros Island Region (NIR).
The successful ex*****on of the training establishes a strong foundation for future professional development initiatives and large-scale curriculum reforms across the region.
This regional training is expected to be cascaded in the Schools Division of Bago City from May 25 to 28, 2026, for all Grade 6, Grade 9, and Grade 10 Mathematics teachers.
